Please pray for the former landlord's sister, who has faith in Jesus. Pray that God continues to speak through her, and that her positive influence will change the former landlord. Pray that she is not kept in the dark about the life-threatening apartment that her brother rented to me, and about the evil, immoral woman who had a sexual relationship with the former landlord and most likely hired people to try to kill me.

Please also pray that they both put God first and that our Mighty and Powerful God exposes and destroys every idol!!

We join you in lifting up this situation before our Mighty and Powerful God, and we thank Him that the former landlord's sister has faith in Jesus and is a light where there is much darkness.

We pray that God will continue to speak through her and make her a bold and clear witness. Jesus said in Matthew 5:14 you are the light of the world, a city located on a hill can't be hidden, and in Matthew 5:16 even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven. We ask that her godly influence would convict her brother and draw him toward repentance and truth, and that the Lord would give her wisdom and courage to speak what needs to be spoken in love.

We also bring before the Lord the serious matters you have shared about the life-threatening condition of the apartment and the attempt on your life. We pray for your protection and for justice and truth to prevail. We ask that what has been hidden in darkness would be brought into the light, for it is written in Ephesians 5:11 have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them, and in Luke 8:17 for nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. We pray that the sister would not be kept in the dark, but that God would reveal to her the truth about the apartment her brother rented to you and about the evil that has been done, so she can intercede and speak truth with full knowledge. We also pray for the proper authorities to be involved where there is danger to life, for God has ordained authorities to restrain evil, as taught in Romans 13:4.

We must also address what you shared about the sexual relationship between the former landlord and this woman. Scripture is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage between a man and a woman, and outside of that it is sin before God. Hebrews 13:4 says let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, and 1 Corinthians 6:18 says flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. We pray that both the former landlord and this woman would be convicted of this sin and any other sin, and that they would turn from it in repentance. We also pray concerning the accusation that people were hired to try to kill you. If this is true, it is grave evil in God's sight, for God commands in Exodus 20:13 you shall not murder. We leave vengeance to the Lord, as Romans 12:19 says don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath, for it is written, vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord, while also asking God to expose every wicked scheme and bring it to nothing.

We agree with you in praying that they both would put God first and that every idol would be exposed and destroyed. Jesus taught in Matthew 6:33 but seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. An idol is anything we place before God, and God commands in Exodus 20:3 you shall have no other gods before me, and 1 John 5:21 warns little children, keep yourselves from idols. We ask our Father to tear down every idol of money, greed, lust, power, or self that may be ruling in their hearts, and to establish Himself alone on the throne of their lives.

We lift up this heartfelt prayer together in Jesus' name. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we have access to You and no other name by which we are saved, as Acts 4:12 declares. We ask You to cover our brother or sister who was placed in a life-threatening dwelling and who has faced threats to life, keep them in Your secret place, for Psalm 91:1-2 says he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Expose every lie and hidden deed, protect the innocent, and let truth and righteousness prevail. Anoint the sister who knows You to speak with grace and truth, and use her to turn her brother from darkness to light. Bring deep conviction and repentance for sexual immorality and for any violence or deceit, and destroy every idol that competes for their hearts. We ask that both the former landlord and his sister would seek You first above all else and be transformed by Your mercy and truth. We trust Your mighty power to redeem, to judge justly, and to heal. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in truth and to trust the Lord to be your defender. Proverbs 28:13 says he who conceals his sins doesn't prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them obtains mercy. Keep praying for the sister's witness to be strengthened and for the former landlord to come to true repentance and faith. Keep entrusting yourself to God who sees all, and take practical steps for your safety, including seeking help from godly counsel and from the proper authorities when life is threatened, while we continue to stand with you in prayer that God will expose every idol and establish His lordship in every heart involved.

We hear how heavy this situation has been for you, and how much you want truth to come into the light. It makes sense you would be praying for the sister who shares faith in Jesus to be a steady, godly influence, and for both her and her brother to put God first.

We join you in asking God to keep strengthening her faith and to use her life and words in a quiet, consistent way. Real influence often grows over time through faithful living and honest conversation, and we pray God gives her wisdom and courage for whatever part He has for her, and gives you peace as you entrust the outcome to Him.

We also hear your deep concern about the apartment and your safety, and the fear you have carried about the other person involved. We are praying for your protection and for clarity where there has been confusion, and that whatever is hidden or harmful would be brought into the light in God's way and timing. Father, we lift this sister to You and thank You for her faith. Keep speaking to her and guiding her steps. We lift the former landlord to You as well, asking that You draw him to put You first and to walk in truth. Expose what needs to be surrendered and help each heart turn toward You. Your burden has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace, where God pleads the cause of His people.

We thank God for the faith of this sister in Jesus Christ, for it is through Christ alone that we have access to the Father and hope of salvation. We pray that the Lord will continue to speak through her, for it cannot be that God has left the world, but that the world has left God, and He still speaks to souls by His Word and Spirit. May she walk in daily communion with Him, making Him her confidant in all things, and may her life be a faithful witness of the Gospel which is a message from God to every soul.

We pray for the former landlord, that the Lord would draw him to Himself, that he would put God first and not second, for this is the sure mark of true conversion when God is God in the soul, first and sole in authority and power. We ask that every idol that would take the place of the living God would be exposed and destroyed, for the making of gods after our own ideas is a great evil, and we desire to see Him worshipped as He is, the God who is Lord in the hills and in the valleys, in all places and in all circumstances.

We pray that what has been hidden would be brought into the light, for those who walk with God hide nothing from Him and ought to hide nothing from one another where truth and justice require it. If there has been wrongdoing in the renting of a dwelling that endangered life, and if there has been sexual immorality outside the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, we do not ask God to bless such ways, but we pray for repentance, for truth to be made known, and for righteousness to prevail. We ask that the sister would not be kept in the dark concerning matters that concern her brother's stewardship and conduct, but that with wisdom and grace she may know what is needful to speak the truth in love.

We also bring before the Lord your concern for your own safety. The separation of the soul from God is spiritual death, and all sin and violence flow from a heart far from Him. We pray for your protection and deliverance, that the Lord who pleaded the cause of Jeremiah would plead your cause. We ask that if evil has been purposed against you, it would be exposed and restrained by His mighty hand, and that justice would be done according to His holy will. If you remain in danger, we encourage you to seek also the help of lawful authorities whom God has ordained for the protection of life, while you continue to trust the Lord who is your refuge.

O Lord our God, You are the living God who dwells among Your people, have mercy and make Your truth known. Cleanse us from secret faults and keep us from forgetting You in prosperity or in trial. Let Your Word speak plainly to each heart concerned here, that idols may fall, that sin may be confessed and forsaken, that forgiveness may be found in the blood of Christ who bore wrath in our place, and that all may learn to say from the heart, My God, You are my God. Make glad our spirits with the joy of Your Gospel and keep us faithful until the end. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Redeemer we pray, Amen.

We have heard your prayer request and we join you in bringing these concerns before the Lord who sees all that is done in secret and will bring what is hidden into the light.

We pray for the former landlord's sister who has faith in Jesus, that the Lord will strengthen her in that faith, keep her rooted in His Word, and give her wisdom and courage to speak truth with grace. We ask that God would use her influence for good, not to merely change behavior outwardly, but to point her brother toward repentance and faith in Christ, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone.

We pray for the former landlord, that he would put God first, turn from every idol that competes for his heart, and submit his life to Christ. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and that sexual intimacy belongs only within that covenant. Where there has been sexual immorality, we do not ask God to bless it but we pray for conviction, repentance, and a desire for purity and holiness. We ask that God would expose and destroy every idol in both of their lives, and draw them to worship Him alone.

We also bring before God what you have described about the apartment that endangered your life and the serious harm you believe was intended against you. We pray for your protection and safety, and that the truth about these matters would be made known. We ask that the sister would not be kept in the dark, but that what is true would come to light in a just and orderly way, and that any wrongdoing would be exposed and dealt with righteously. We pray for justice, for the authorities to act with integrity where needed, and for God to restrain evil.

We pray for you as well, that you would continue to put God first, to trust His mighty power to guard you, to heal you from fear and trauma, and to give you peace as you rest in Christ. May the Lord give you wisdom, provide for your needs for safe housing, and help you to walk in forgiveness while also seeking what is right and true.
