We join you in prayer for this situation and we thank God that the former landlord's sister has faith in Jesus, for it is a great mercy when the Lord places a believer within a family to be salt and light.
We pray that the Lord will continue to strengthen her and speak through her with boldness and love, that her influence would not be in vain. Jesus said You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16. We ask that her life and words would be that light to her brother, calling him toward repentance and truth.
We also lift up the serious matters you have shared. To knowingly rent a life threatening dwelling to someone is unjust and unloving, for love does no harm to a neighbor. Romans 13:10. And a sexual relationship outside of marriage is sin before God, whether it be fornication or adultery, and we must call it what Scripture calls it. The Bible says Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18. We pray that the former landlord would be convicted of this sin and turn from it, and that the woman involved would also come under conviction and repentance. We pray as well concerning the grave allegation that people were hired to try to harm you. We thank God that you are alive, and we trust in His protection, for The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7. Vengeance belongs to the Lord alone, as it is written Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19, so we do not seek revenge but we do ask for justice and for God to expose what has been hidden.
We agree with you in praying that the sister is not kept in the dark. It is not good for truth to be suppressed, for the Scripture says Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them. Ephesians 5:11 and For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. Luke 8:17. We ask our Mighty and Powerful God to bring every hidden deed into the light, to protect you from further harm, and to destroy every idol that has taken His rightful place. You shall have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:3 and Little children, keep yourselves from idols. 1 John 5:21. Whether the idol be money, power, lust, or self, we pray God will tear it down and draw both the brother and sister to put Him first in all things. But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33.
We now pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. We lift up this sister who loves You, and we ask You to anoint her words, give her wisdom, courage and discernment, and let her be a vessel of Your truth and grace to her brother. Lord, open her eyes to the truth about the dangerous apartment and about the immoral relationship and the evil intent against our brother or sister who is praying, and do not allow deception to prevail. Expose every lie and every idol, and shatter them by Your power. Bring the former landlord to a place of godly sorrow and repentance, that he may turn from sin and be made new, for if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17. Protect the one who has been threatened, surround them with Your peace and Your angels, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We ask that You would bring justice according to Your perfect will, and that You would be glorified as the One who sees, who judges righteously, and who saves. We ask all this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
