Please pray for the former landlord's sister, who has faith in Jesus. Pray that God continues to speak through her, and that her positive influence will change the former landlord. Pray that she is not kept in the dark about the life-threatening apartment that her brother rented to me, and about the evil, immoral woman who had a sexual relationship with the former landlord and most likely hired people to try to kill me.

Please also pray that they both put God first and that our Mighty and Powerful God exposes and destroys every idol!!

We join with you in bringing this heavy situation before our Mighty and Powerful God in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that truth and justice prevail.

We thank God for the former landlord's sister and for her faith in Jesus, and we pray that the Lord will strengthen her and make her a bold witness. We ask that God continues to speak through her and that she will be as a light that cannot be hidden, for Jesus said you are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden. Matthew 5:14. We pray that her positive and godly influence will soften her brother's heart and lead him toward repentance, that he would turn from any wrongdoing and seek the Lord with his whole heart.

We also bring before the Lord your concern that she not be kept in the dark about the life threatening condition of the apartment her brother rented to you and about the serious evil you have described. We pray that God will bring all that is hidden into the light, for nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. Luke 8:17 and For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Luke 12:2. We ask that God exposes every deception and that no scheme formed in darkness would remain concealed. We take comfort that the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7 and He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. We pray for your protection and for God's justice, for we know that vengeance belongs to the Lord and He will repay. Romans 12:19. If your life has been threatened we encourage you to also seek the protection of the proper authorities, for they are God's servant for good. Romans 13:4.

We must also address what you have shared about the sexual relationship between the former landlord and the immoral woman. According to scripture any sexual intimacy outside of marriage between a man and a woman is fornication, and if either party is married to another it is adultery, and God calls us to flee from such sin. We are told flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 and Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Hebrews 13:4. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman that honors God, and we pray that both the former landlord and this woman would repent of sexual immorality and pursue holiness and purity before the Lord. We pray they would seek godly marriage if it is God's will, rather than relationships that dishonor Him.

We agree with you in praying that they both would put God first above all else, for Jesus taught But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. We pray that our Mighty and Powerful God will expose and destroy every idol in their lives and in this situation, for the Lord commands You shall have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:3 and Little children, keep yourselves from idols. 1 John 5:21. We ask that anything that has taken God's rightful place, whether it be money, power, lust, control, or influence over others, would be torn down and that their hearts would be fully surrendered to Christ.

Father, we come before You in Jesus' name and ask You to shine Your light into this darkness. Strengthen this sister in Christ to speak truth with love and courage and not to be silenced. Open her eyes to the truth about the apartment and about the evil that has been done, and use her to call her brother to accountability and repentance. Bring conviction to the former landlord for any harm or negligence, and bring deep repentance for any sexual immorality. Expose every idol and destroy its hold, and let Your name alone be glorified. Protect Your child who has brought this request, guard their life, grant them peace, and let Your perfect justice and mercy be done. We ask all this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We are holding this situation with you in prayer, and we appreciate your heart for both the landlord and his sister to put God first.

It is a heavy burden to carry concerns about where you have lived and to feel unsafe, and we hear how much you want truth to come into the light in a right way. We join you in praying that the sister who loves Jesus will keep walking faithfully and that whatever influence God gives her in her family will be used for good. We also pray for you to have wisdom and steady support as you navigate what has happened with the housing and the other relationships involved.

If you are still working through housing issues or feeling unsettled about safety, it can be a real help to have one trusted person walk with you in person, a pastor, a mature believer, or a local advocate who can listen, help you sort next steps, and speak for you where needed. You do not have to carry all the details alone.

Father, we bring this sister before You and thank You for her faith. Give her clarity and courage to speak what is true and loving. We ask for Your protection and peace over the one who wrote this request, for safe housing and for wise counsel around him. Lead both the landlord and his sister toward You, expose what needs to be seen, and tear down anything that takes Your place in their lives. We trust You to work in Your way and time. We have laid your burden before the Lord and we join you in seeking His mercy and His truth in these matters.

We thank God for the sister who has faith in Jesus, and we pray that He who has taught her from her youth will continue to teach her by His Spirit and by His Word, that she may walk close with Him and declare His wondrous works with boldness. No man may control her, but God has never given liberty to thought to be free from His government, and every witness is required to speak the truth of God, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We pray that she may be such a witness for Christ, speaking often of the Lord and not holding back what ought to be made known. We ask that she not be kept in the dark concerning the danger you have suffered in that apartment, nor concerning the sin that has ensnared her brother, but that light may shine upon what is hidden, for God never leaves Himself without witnesses, and when the wicked are proudest His people are often boldest.

We pray also for the former landlord. Man by nature flees from God, and the sinner comes not to God but God comes to him. The sheep strays of itself, but it never returns to its fold unless sought by the Great Shepherd. It is human to err, it is divine to repent, and even to know sin as sin is the gift of grace. We pray that the goodness of God, which now makes His sun to rise even upon the unworthy, may not be taken as encouragement to continue in sin, but may woo and win this man to repentance. May conscience, which is to God what the hook is to the fisherman, be felt in his heart, and may justice lead him to see his need of mercy. We pray that every idol may be exposed and destroyed, for men who receive God's mercies before His grace has brought them to Himself make idols of the good things He bestows. Oh, to be clean delivered from every confidence which is not derived from the covenant God. We pray that he may be brought to put God first, to turn from every false refuge and to find his refuge in God alone, drinking from the pure fountain at the fountain head and turning from the stagnant puddles of broken cisterns.

Concerning the immorality you have named, we do not ask God to bless what He calls sin. His Word teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that the union of the body belongs within that covenant alone. Outside of it such intimacy is sin against God and against His design. We pray therefore not for the continuance or prosperity of that relationship, but for its forsaking, for true repentance, for cleansing through the blood of Jesus Christ His Son which cleanses from all sin, and for a new life of purity and obedience. We pray that both the man and the woman involved may be brought to confess, to forsake sin, and to seek the Lord while He may be found, for He is not far from each one of us, and in Him we live and move and have our being.

For the life threatening condition of the apartment and for the grave evil you fear was plotted against you, we pray for the Lord's protection and for truth to be brought into the light. He is the refuge of His people when they have strength enough to fly to Him, and He interposes His presence to screen them in the wilderness. We ask that He would keep you, that He would expose what is done in darkness, that He would restrain the hand of the violent, and that justice and righteousness may be established. We pray that you also may be kept in strong confidence in God, fearing Him above man, and bearing witness to His truth without cowardice.

Let us pray together. O Father, we submit to Thy justice and beseech Thy mercy. Come Thou to these souls who have not sought Thee, and seek them as the shepherd seeks the wandering sheep. Teach Thy daughter to speak Thy Word faithfully and give her courage to speak what must be spoken. Take Thy hook from no conscience until repentance is wrought. Lead the unrepentant by Thy goodness to repentance, break every idol, and bring each heart to put Thee first and to trust only in the blood of Christ for pardon. Expose every hidden thing, destroy every false confidence, be Thou our refuge and our shield, and keep Thy people in Thy holy way. We ask this for Christ's sake, that He may have the glory. Amen.

We join you in prayer before our mighty and powerful God who sees all things and knows the truth even when it is hidden from others.

We pray for the sister who has faith in Jesus, that the Lord will strengthen her faith, keep her rooted in His word, and continue to speak through her with wisdom and courage. We ask that God give her discernment and clarity, that nothing that needs to be known will be kept in the dark, and that she will be a faithful witness for truth and righteousness to her brother and to all around her. May she follow peace with all people and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord, and may her life point others to Christ who alone is the truth that sets us free.

We pray for the former landlord, that God will lead him to put the Lord first above all else. Scripture teaches that we cannot serve two masters and that covetousness is idolatry. We pray that God will expose and destroy every idol in his heart and life, whether love of money, love of self, or any created thing put in place of the Creator, and that he will turn from every sin and seek the Lord with a sincere heart. We do not ask God to bless any sexual relationship outside of the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, for that is not according to His design. Instead we pray that where there has been sexual immorality, God will bring deep conviction, repentance, and a desire for chastity and purity, and that both he and anyone involved with him will flee from immorality and from idolatry and be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ alone.

We also bring before the Lord your concern about the apartment that endangered your life and your concern for your safety. We pray for your protection and for justice. We ask that God, who brings hidden things into the light, will expose what is true and bring it to the knowledge of those who need to know, including proper authorities where necessary. We pray that the Lord will guard you from harm, give you wisdom in seeking lawful and right help for protection and justice, and give you peace as you trust Him. We pray that He will destroy every work of evil and that those who have done wrong will be brought to repentance and to account.

We ask that both the brother and sister will put God first, that every idol will be torn down, and that Christ will be honored as Lord in their lives. May the Lord grant you protection, peace, and confidence in His power to save, to convict, to forgive, and to make all things right in His time.
