Good and Faithful Servant
I. The Desolation of the Household O Lord, let the "hedge" of the stranger be utterly removed, as it was in the days of Job. Strike the foundations of their commerce and the "bread" of their industry. Let their bank accounts be emptied by the wind and their contracts be turned to dust. May the offices that welcomed them be shuttered, and the seats they occupied be returned to the native-born of this soil.

II. The Curse of the Bitter Sustenance As they have taken the inheritance of the children, let their own harvest be turned to rot. May they labor under the sun of this island only to find their pockets filled with holes. In the day of their deepest hunger, when they look for bread, let there be none; let them be driven by the gnawing of their own stomachs to eat of their own excrement to survive, that they may know the absolute bitterness of the land they sought to plunder.

III. The Permanent Presence of the Adversary Let the Accuser and the Adversary be their shadow in every street and corner of Singapore. May Satan be with them for all the days of their lives in this land, whispering rejection at every interview and closing every door of hope. Let their path be dark and slippery, with the spirit of restlessness driving them toward the sea.

IV. The Decree of the Swift Departure Stir a great trembling in their hearts until they depart in massive numbers, fleeing to their ancestral lands with nothing but the memory of their shame. Let the "Permanent Resident" and the "New Citizen" vanish like smoke, that the landmarks of our fathers may be restored and the glory of the years of old may return to the local hands alone. Confuse them and make their toil become a waste, and never be recognize.

V. The Cleansing of the Soil Do not stay Your hand, O Lord, until the inheritance is pure and the stranger is no longer heard in our gates. Let the native-born prosper in the peace of a restored household, while the memory of the deceiver is blotted out from the marketplace forever and their offspring together with them be blotted out from the book of life and their prayer turned to curse.

In the Mighty and Matchless Name of Jesus, Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, recognizing the deep pain and frustration expressed in this petition. While we understand the desire for justice and restoration, we must examine this prayer through the lens of Scripture, ensuring it aligns with God’s heart of love, mercy, and righteousness.

First, we must address the spirit of this request. The Bible teaches us to love our neighbors (Mark 12:31), to bless those who persecute us, and to pray for those who despitefully use us (Matthew 5:44). While it is right to seek justice for wrongs committed, Scripture does not condone curses or the invoking of harm upon others. Proverbs 24:17 tells us, "Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls. Don’t let your heart be glad when he is overthrown." Instead, we are called to trust God’s justice, knowing that vengeance belongs to Him alone (Romans 12:19).

The prayer invokes the "Accuser" and the "Adversary," asking for Satan to be a constant presence in the lives of others. This is deeply concerning, as Scripture warns us not to give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). We are called to resist the devil (James 4:7), not invite his influence into the lives of others. Furthermore, the request for their names to be "blotted out from the book of life" contradicts the heart of the Gospel. God desires all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and it is not our place to ask for the eternal condemnation of others. Instead, we should pray for their salvation and transformation.

We must also address the language of exclusion and division. The Bible teaches that in Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for we are all one in Him (Galatians 3:28). While nations and cultures are part of God’s design, our identity in Christ transcends earthly boundaries. We are called to be peacemakers (Matthew 5:9) and to show hospitality to strangers (Hebrews 13:2), reflecting God’s love to all people.

It is important to note that this prayer is offered in the name of Jesus, which is the only name by which we have access to the Father (John 14:6). However, we must ensure that our prayers align with His character. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10). Our prayers should reflect God’s will, not our own desires for retribution or harm.

Let us instead pray for God’s justice to prevail in ways that bring glory to Him and align with His heart. We pray for repentance, restoration, and reconciliation, both for those who feel wronged and for those who may have caused harm. We ask God to soften hearts, to open eyes to truth, and to bring healing to broken relationships and communities.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humility and reverence, seeking Your will above all else. We lift up the pain and frustration expressed in this petition, asking that You would bring healing and restoration to all who feel wronged. Lord, we know that vengeance belongs to You, and we trust in Your perfect justice. We pray for those who may have caused harm, that their hearts would be softened and that they would come to know You as their Savior. Father, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance in how to respond to injustice with love and truth. Help us to be peacemakers, reflecting Your heart to the world. We pray for reconciliation and unity, that Your name would be glorified in all things. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s heart in this matter. Study His Word, spend time in prayer, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth. Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Trust in God’s sovereignty and His perfect timing, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Let us strive to live out the Gospel in every area of our lives, showing love and grace even to those who may oppose us.

We stand with you in your heartache and frustration, dear friend. We understand the pain you're feeling and the desire for justice. Let's lift this burden to the Lord together, asking for His will to be done in this situation.

"Lord, we come before You with heavy hearts, carrying the weight of injustice and hurt. We ask for Your comfort and strength in this time. We pray for the wrongdoers, that their hearts would be softened and they would come to know the truth. We ask for justice to prevail, but not in our own way or timing. We trust in Your perfect justice and mercy.

We also pray for those who have been hurt. We ask for healing, restoration, and peace. Help them to find comfort and strength in You, Lord. Give them the grace to forgive as You have forgiven them.

Help us, Lord, to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, just as You have taught us. Give us the strength to follow Your example, even in the face of adversity.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
