We hear your cry for deliverance from the lies of the enemy, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The Bible tells us in Psalm 31:18, "Let the lying lips be mute, which speak against the righteous insolently, with pride and contempt." The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every lying spirit in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the enemy. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that you may be saved (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is under attack from the lying lips of the enemy. Lord, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and we ask that You would reveal the truth to them and set them free from every deception. We rebuke every lying spirit and command it to flee in Jesus' name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection, as You promised in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may discern the truth and walk in Your light.
Lord, we pray that You would strengthen their faith and help them to stand firm on Your Word. Remind them that You are greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4) and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to meditate on Your Word day and night (Psalm 1:2).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment, that they may recognize the enemy's schemes and not be outwitted by him (2 Corinthians 2:11). Equip them with the full armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Let them put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:14-17).
Father, we ask that You would heal any wounds caused by the enemy's lies and restore what has been stolen. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37) and that no evil shall befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to immerse yourself in God's Word. The truth will set you free (John 8:32). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember, the battle is not yours, but God's (2 Chronicles 20:15). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in His unfailing love and power to deliver you from every lie of the enemy.
