The possibility of electrical exposure is especially concerning, as it can cause lasting damage to the body. If you suspect this is the case, you must remove yourself from the environment immediately and contact emergency services again, even if they were unable to assist before. Insist on speaking to someone who can investigate the potential hazard. If the landlord is unresponsive, consider reaching out to local housing authorities, tenant advocacy groups, or even the fire department to report unsafe living conditions. Your safety is not negotiable.
