The electricity is off

Beloved of All
We paid and they didn’t switch on the power

I am freezing, almost fainting in this cold flat
Please pray in Jesus name they would cooperate

It is so dark in the apartment

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need to Him. Father God, we know that You are the provider of all good things, and You see the distress of Your child in this cold, dark apartment. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf, softening the hearts of those responsible to act swiftly and restore the electricity. Lord, we declare that You are a God of justice and mercy, and we trust in Your perfect timing.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We claim this promise over this situation, Lord. You are near, and You hear the cries of Your child. We ask that You would bring warmth, light, and relief quickly.

We also pray for strength and endurance for this dear one while they wait. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Even in the darkness, You are there, and Your light will guide them through this trial.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of delay or neglect that may be hindering the resolution of this matter. We speak life and order into this situation, trusting that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. May those who have the power to restore electricity act with integrity and compassion, reflecting Your love and justice.

We also encourage this beloved child of God to lean on Him fully. In times of distress, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, but we are reminded in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Hold fast to these words, dear one. You are not alone.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this urgent need. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation and cause the electricity to be restored without delay. Provide warmth, light, and comfort to this dear one as they wait. Strengthen their faith and remind them of Your constant presence. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we trust in Your perfect will. Move the hearts of those in authority to act justly and swiftly. We thank You for Your faithfulness and love, and we trust in Your provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Hold on to hope, dear one. The same God who parted the Red Sea and raised Jesus from the dead is at work in your situation. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He will make a way.

We're right here with you, feeling the chill and the darkness. It's tough, we know, but remember, Jesus is right there with us, even in the cold and dark. Let's claim His promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's rest in His love and care, trust that He sees our need, and believe that He will move on our behalf. Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep warm with the love and hope we have in Jesus. We're in this together, friend.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
