The Devil Is Busy!

But . . . as a christian, I have vowed to be busier in prayer, in the word and in worship.

Ever since I devoted total commitment to Christ, I have come under constant attack from satan. I realize that sometimes we have to stay in the fire so that God can use our testimony for his glory. Still, the fire is an uncomfortable place to be when you're tyring so hard to live according to the word. If that's where God wants me to be right now, then I will gird up my loins and count it all joy to be used by God Almighty. Pray that God will continue to sustain me and do for me what he did for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, bringing me through the fire unsinged (void even of the smell of smoke) and better off than was before.

I acknowledge God in all that I do and praise Him in the midst of my trials.

I know and believe God is listening. And I believe God answers us. I believe He answers all according to His good plans. As you await God's answer I offer this prayer:

Dear Lord,



Thank you for hearing my prayers. In this time of need, strengthen me. You are my strength and my shield; You are my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. I know, Father, that Your eyes go to and fro throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts long for You. The body grows weary, but my hope is in You to renew my strength. I do not fear, for You are with me. I am not dismayed or overwhelmed, for You are my God. I know You will strengthen me and help me; that You will uphold me with Your righteous hand. Even as the shadows of evil or illness cover me, I feel the comfort of Your strength, Or Lord. Amen.
