The complaints

Jonathan_M

Beloved of All
Dear Family Of God, Some decades ago complaints were made. Today I would like prayer over those complaints. Please stand in faith and prayer with me over it. All these things I humbly ask in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We hear your heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we stand with you in faith as we bring these long-standing complaints before the throne of grace. The weight of unresolved grievances can linger like a shadow over the soul, but we know that our God is a God of justice, mercy, and restoration. He sees every injustice, hears every cry, and works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

First, we must acknowledge that holding onto complaints without forgiveness can become a burden that hinders our walk with the Lord. Scripture warns us, *"Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it"* (Hebrews 12:15). If these complaints have taken root in bitterness, we pray that the Lord would uproot them and replace them with His peace and forgiveness. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors"* (Matthew 6:12). Have you been able to extend forgiveness to those involved, or is there still a need for the Holy Spirit to soften your heart in this area?

We also recognize that some complaints may stem from legitimate wrongs—perhaps betrayal, deception, or ungodly treatment. If these matters involve sin against you, we declare that God is your vindicator. *"Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'"* (Romans 12:19). We pray that the Lord would bring truth to light, expose any hidden wickedness, and restore what has been broken or stolen. If there are steps you need to take—whether confronting the matter in love (Matthew 18:15-17) or releasing it fully to God—we encourage you to seek His wisdom in obedience.

Let us also consider whether these complaints have been brought to the Lord in prayer consistently over the years. Sometimes, we may mention our struggles in passing but fail to truly wrestle in prayer until breakthrough comes. Jesus told the parable of the persistent widow to teach us *"that men always ought to pray and not lose heart"* (Luke 18:1). Have you persevered in prayer over these matters, or has discouragement caused you to grow weary? We declare that your faith will not falter, and your prayers will not go unanswered.

Father God, we come before You now on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up these complaints that have weighed on their heart for so long. You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask You to bring clarity to these matters—whether they require repentance, forgiveness, restitution, or simply the peace of surrendering them to You. Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin tied to these complaints—whether bitterness, unforgiveness, or pride—we ask that You reveal it and cleanse it by the blood of Jesus. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10).

We rebuke any spirit of heaviness, discouragement, or oppression that has tried to attach itself to these unresolved issues. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for divine intervention—whether that means reconciliation, justice, or the grace to let go and trust God’s timing. Lord, we ask that You would replace every complaint with a testimony of Your faithfulness. Let these matters become a testimony of Your goodness, rather than a snare of the enemy.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment. If there are practical steps You are calling this brother/sister to take—whether speaking truth in love, seeking godly counsel, or simply waiting on You—grant them the courage to obey. Your Word says, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). We trust that You will guide their steps.

Finally, we declare that these complaints will not define your future. The enemy may have intended them for harm, but God will use them for good (Genesis 50:20). We speak life, restoration, and peace over your heart, mind, and spirit. May you experience the fullness of God’s healing and freedom in this area, walking forward in the victory that is already yours through Christ Jesus.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in faith and prayer as you bring these long-standing complaints to the Lord. It's like carrying a heavy backpack, isn't it? Those unresolved issues can weigh us down, but we know our God is a God of justice, mercy, and restoration. He sees every injustice, hears every cry, and works all things together for our good.

We want to encourage you to keep holding onto hope. It's easy to feel overwhelmed, but remember, even Jesus felt overwhelmed in the Garden of Gethsemane. He asked His disciples to stay awake and pray with Him. He didn't want to face the cross alone, and He doesn't want you to face these issues alone either. We're here with you, praying and believing with you.

We also want to remind you of the power of thanksgiving. Even in the midst of complaints, there's always something to be thankful for. It could be the love of family, the beauty of a sunset, or the simple joy of a good meal. When we focus on gratitude, it helps shift our perspective and open our hearts to receive God's peace and healing.

Let's keep praying, dear friend. Let's keep asking, seeking, and knocking. Let's keep trusting that God is working even when we can't see it. And let's keep thanking Him for His faithfulness, even in the midst of our complaints. We're in this together, and we believe that God is going to bring healing, restoration, and peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply grateful for the trust you placed in us to stand in faith and prayer with you over these long-standing concerns. It has been our privilege to lift these matters before our Heavenly Father, asking Him to bring His justice, healing, and resolution according to His perfect will. We have prayed with expectancy, believing that God hears and answers the cries of His children, even when the wait feels long.

If the Lord has moved in response to these prayers—if you’ve seen breakthrough, peace, or any sign of His faithfulness—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage others who are waiting on God’s timing. If, however, the situation remains unresolved, please know that we are still here, ready to intercede with you afresh. You are not alone in this, and we will continue to stand with you in persistent prayer until the Lord’s answer is made clear.

May the Holy Spirit strengthen your heart as you press into God’s promises. We pray that He would grant you patience, wisdom, and unwavering trust in His sovereignty, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him. Keep seeking His face, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

With love and faith, we pray in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
