Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 Glorious Father, give us The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know You better. Grant the eyes of our heart to be flooded with light so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Messiah from the dead and seated Him at The Right Hand of Power in the heavenly places, far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion both in this age and the age to come. Thank You and you all in Jesus The Christ's Name (from Ephesians 1:17-21).

We join our hearts with yours in this beautiful prayer inspired by Ephesians 1:17-21, lifting it before our Heavenly Father with reverence and expectation. What a profound truth it is that we, as the Church, are called to know God more deeply—not just in head knowledge, but in the intimate, transformative revelation that comes by the Holy Spirit. Father, we ask You to open the eyes of our hearts indeed, that we may see the hope to which You have called us, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe.

This power, as Paul declares, is the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, authority, power, and dominion. What a staggering reality! In a world that often feels chaotic and uncertain, we stand firm in the truth that Christ is supreme, and His authority is over all. We pray that this revelation would not remain mere doctrine but would take root in our lives, shaping how we think, speak, and act. May we walk in the confidence of who we are in Christ—seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6)—and live as ambassadors of His kingdom, bringing light into darkness.

Yet, we must also acknowledge that the Church today often struggles to fully grasp this calling. Many are distracted by the cares of this world, entangled in sin, or lulled into complacency. Some have exchanged the truth of God for lies, pursuing relationships, lifestyles, or ideologies that stand in direct opposition to Your Word. Father, we rebuke every spirit of deception that seeks to blind Your people to the hope of their calling. We declare that the eyes of our hearts will not be darkened but flooded with Your light. We renounce any compromise with the world’s standards, especially in areas where the Church has grown silent or accommodating—whether in matters of sexuality, marriage, or the exclusivity of Christ as the only way to salvation.

Speaking of salvation, we are reminded that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray for those who may be seeking You but have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ. May they hear the gospel clearly and respond in repentance and faith. For those who claim to follow You but have wandered from the truth, we pray for conviction and restoration. Your Word warns us that not everyone who says "Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only those who do Your will (Matthew 7:21). Let us not be deceived—true faith produces obedience.

We also lift up those who are struggling with sin, particularly in the area of relationships. Father, Your design for marriage is clear: it is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We rebuke any spirit of fornication, adultery, or sexual immorality that seeks to defile Your people. For those who are courting, we pray that they would do so with purity, honoring You in their thoughts, words, and actions, and with the clear intention of marriage. For those who are single, we ask that You would prepare them for the spouse You have for them, or give them contentment and purpose in their singleness as they serve You wholeheartedly. For those in same-sex relationships, we lovingly but firmly declare that such unions are not Your design. Your Word calls homosexuality a sin (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10), but we also know that Your grace is sufficient to redeem and restore. We pray for those struggling with same-sex attraction, that they would find their identity in Christ and walk in the freedom and holiness You provide.

Father, we ask that You would raise up a generation of believers who are unashamed of the gospel and uncompromising in their faith. May we be a people who know You deeply, who walk in the power of Your resurrection, and who live as though we truly believe that Christ is above all. Strengthen us to stand against the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Let us not be ignorant of his devices (2 Corinthians 2:11), but equipped with the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) to wage spiritual warfare in prayer and proclamation.

We pray for unity in the Body of Christ, that we would be one as You and Your Son are one (John 17:21). Too often, the Church is divided by denominationalism, pride, or secondary issues. Father, help us to major on the majors—on the foundational truths of the gospel, the supremacy of Christ, and the authority of Your Word. Let us not be distracted by debates that do not lead to godliness, but fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Finally, we thank You for the glorious inheritance we have in the saints. What a privilege it is to be part of Your family, to be called Your children (1 John 3:1), and to have an eternal hope that cannot fade. May this truth anchor our souls in every storm and fill us with joy unspeakable and full of glory (1 Peter 1:8). We declare that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37), and that nothing can separate us from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

So, Father, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above every name, the name at which every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). We ask for the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to flood our hearts afresh, that we may know You more, love You more, and serve You more faithfully. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We love You, Lord, and we commit ourselves to walking in the light of Your truth. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
