The Binding and Loosing in Marriage

Lord I am taking a stand on the truth of your Word. You said you would give me the keys to the Kingdom, that whatever I would bind on earth would be bound in heaven and whatever I would loose on earth would be loosed in heaven. Right now, in the name of Jesus Christ; I bind Don's will to the will of God so that he will be constantly aware of Your purpose for his life. I bind Don to the truth of God that he will not be decieved by the lies of the devil.

I bind Don to the blood of Jesus that he will never take it for granted. May Don be constantly aware of it's miracle working power to restore and heal him. I bind Don to the mind of Christ that he be aware of how Jesus would have him to think in every situation that he comes into this day. I do not want him to react out of his own carnal thoughts when unsettling situations arise suddenly, I want him to think and act as Jesus would.

I bind Don's feet to the paths of rightousness that his steps will be steady and true all day long. I bind Don to the work of the cross in his life so that he will continue to die daily to his own selfish desires and motivations and be more like Him. I bind Don and loose these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who has given me the keys to do so, Thank you Lord, for the truth, amen.

Lord, I pray for this marriage, that Your word, would both pierce the heart and mend the heart. For Your word is as a two edged sword. Lord, may he find the truth in Your word, and not be able to get away from it. May Your word guide his steps and be a constant conscience to him. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Dear Lord, I ask that you would give Don an sound mind and a conviction in his heart. Show him that you are the only true peace that he will experience in life, and let your light and truth shine upon him in his daily activities. Bless his marriage and family, don't let the devil destroy something that you have blessed and made whole...Lord, nothing is impossible for you, this is something that you can work out, and this wife will praise you for your great work...Because you delight in giving gifts to your children, and you love us more than we love our own children.
