The Bible didn't say...

Okay, I can't figure this out.The Bible says,"It is appointed unto men once to die, then after this the judgement."Now the word "once" means a single time...agree?. And it's in the Bible.But then I hear about these ,I'll call them zombies,in the hospital, who you hear of, who say, and the doctors confirm, that they were dead, and some even died 3 times, but were"resurected" by the drs., and came back to life!!Furthermore, to back up that they "died", they give accounts that they went to Heaven or Hell,confirming the doctors story that they were dead!!Now this is weird and inexplicable to me, because the Bible says, "It is appointed unto men ONCE to die", not 3 times in one night,live a few more years, then die again,{permanently this time} how can these doctors override that?And if God is allowing it, why would the Bible state, appointed ONCE to die?I had a grandmother who they said wouldn't last the night, she "died" as thought, then was resurrected!!{But some years later died permanently}And the other weird thing is, some of them who "died" said they experienced nothing, neither Heaven nor Hell,when the Bible says otherwise!!{Explain that one!!}Now the Antichrist will mimic Jesus' resurrection, making one think if the devil can mislead up to this point.{"And I saw one of its heads as if slain, but its mortal wound was healed"}Who knows what is actually going on, but I would like to believe the Word of God over some dr. creating zombies in a hospital somewhere. Still, an explanation?

I have had similar questions in regards to death only because I wanted an excuse to believe whatever I wanted. The people that you know of didn’t necessary die in the biblical sense appointed once to die then to judgment hadn't happened to them as yet if they revived or Jesus called them forth etc, they are / we are all going to have that one final death regardless of being revived or experiencing Heaven or hell prior to that one final death that we don't come back from. Being revived isn't that once to die final death. God doesn't lie :)

Almost dying but being revived is not the Biblical definition of death. We and many others are already judged saved, clothed in Jesus garments and covered with His Blood and we will not die even though our bodies might die or we might leave our bodies. I don't know about you but I'm not going to experience death :)

Call me stubborn because I am when it comes to the Word of God and I refuse to be moved by anything I see or hear or think that seems the lest bit different. I am always leery because the enemy is a deceiver and the Word warns us that in the last days the enemy tries to wear us out with his tricks so much so many will be deceived. So I for one am not going to fall for it but it does make for a very interesting discussion that is for sure. Smiling.

It was not their time to die. Our days are numbered. God knows the number of our days and months. We cannot live longer than the time God has set (Job 4:5). Before we had even seen our first day or taken our first breath, God had already written in His book of life the number of our days (Psalm 139:16). Our times are in God’s hands (Psalm 3:15a). For in God we live, move and have our being (Acts 17:28a). God created all things, and only by God’s will, do we exist (Rev. 4:11).

What about people who spoil others life and or treat others like trash.
Do they see God? I think they won't go to Heaven because God told us to love your neighbors like yourself.

God is a forgiving God. If they repent of their sins, accept Jesus Christ as their Savior they will go to heaven.

But remember we reap what we sew. There are consequences to our sins and the way we treat people. Look at David in the Bible. Read his life story.

1 John 1:9: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Daniel 9:9: The LORD our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him;

Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Psalm 86:5 You, LORD, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.

Exodus 34:7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation."

Oh, I'd have to scan through the New Testament for the once to die verse,. The one about the Antichrist having a mortal wound that was healed, that should be in Revelation 13.But even so, these situations do sound "fishy", because there are unsaved people who "died" and say they went to Heaven, and others who say they experienced nothing, and according to the Bible you either go to Heaven or Hell.

The Bible addresses themes of love, equality, and unity among people, which can be relevant to discussions about racism. Here are a few passages that might be helpful: 1. **Galatians 3:28** - "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."...
