The breastplate of righteousness symbolizes living a life of moral integrity. Ephesians 6:14 WEB, And having put on the breastplate of righteousness. Our righteousness comes from God, and it is a gift given to us through faith in Jesus Christ, Romans 3:22 WEB. We are to live in a manner that is worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, Colossians 1:10 WEB.
The shoes of the Gospel of peace represent our preparedness to spread the message of peace. Ephesians 6:15 WEB, And having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace. Our feet should be ready to share the good news of salvation with a lost and hurting world.

The helmet of salvation assures us of eternal life. Ephesians 6:17 WEB, And take the helmet of salvation. Our salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our works, Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB. This helmet protects our minds and reminds us of our eternal inheritance in Christ.
Finally, the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, is used for defense and offense against spiritual attacks. Ephesians 6:17 WEB, And the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Father, help us to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Give us the strength and courage to live as warriors for Christ. Remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
We pray all these things for believers everywhere, including those who are seeking a spouse to walk alongside in marriage. We ask that you bring godly spouses in Jesus name and help them to prepare through courtship for a lifelong marriage covenant that honors you. Protect single believers from the temptation of fornication and adultery, reminding them that sex is a gift designed for the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman.
