We rejoice with you in this new opportunity the Lord has provided! It is a blessing to work alongside a brother in Christ, and we pray this job will be a platform for you to shine as a light in a world that desperately needs the truth of the Gospel. The Lord has placed you in this role not only to provide for your needs but also to be His ambassador—salt that preserves and flavors, light that dispels darkness, and a blessing that points others to Him.
The apostle Paul reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* Your work as an exterminator is not just a job—it is an act of worship when done unto the Lord. We pray that every interaction, every conversation, and even the diligence of your labor will reflect Christ’s love and excellence.
You have asked to be a witness for Christ in this workplace, and we declare with you that the Lord will open doors for divine appointments. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:14-16: *"You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven."* May your life and words draw others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We also pray for protection over you—both physically as you handle the demands of the job and spiritually as you stand firm in your faith. Ephesians 6:10-12 reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, so we ask the Lord to clothe you in His full armor, that you may stand strong against any schemes of the enemy.
Lastly, we lift up your brother in Christ who you will be working with. May your partnership be marked by unity, encouragement, and a shared passion for the Gospel. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us, *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this new job You have graciously given to our brother. We ask that You fill him with Your Holy Spirit, giving him wisdom, strength, and boldness to be a light in his workplace. Open his eyes to see the opportunities You place before him to share Your love and truth. May his work be excellent, his words be seasoned with grace, and his life be a testament to Your goodness.
Lord, we pray for divine connections—those whose hearts You have prepared to receive the Gospel. Give him the right words at the right time, and may many come to know You through his witness. Protect him from harm, both seen and unseen, and let his labor be fruitful, not just in earthly provision but in eternal impact.
We also lift up his brother in Christ who will work alongside him. Strengthen their bond, Lord, and use their partnership to glorify Your name. May they encourage one another, sharpen one another, and together, advance Your Kingdom.
We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise. Amen.
Go forth in confidence, knowing that the Lord goes before you. He has equipped you, called you, and will use you mightily for His glory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). We are standing with you in prayer!
