The answer my heart has been waiting on.

I need to give myself permission to slow down. I've been running on survival mode for years, acting like rest is something I have to earn. But I'm allowed to pause, I'm allowed to breathe, and I'm allowed to choose peace over pressure.

We hear the deep longing in your words, the weariness of a heart that has carried too much for too long. The Lord sees your struggle, and He does not condemn you for feeling exhausted. In fact, Scripture tells us, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls"* (Matthew 11:28-29). You are not meant to live in survival mode—God designed you for more than mere endurance. He designed you for *life*, and life abundantly (John 10:10).

We must gently rebuke the lie that rest is something to be earned. This is a deception from the enemy, who wants you to believe that your worth is tied to your productivity. But the truth is, your value is found in Christ alone. *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, so that no one can boast"* (Ephesians 2:8-9). If salvation itself is a gift, how much more is rest? The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath (Mark 2:27). God commanded rest because He knows we need it—body, soul, and spirit.

We also want to encourage you to examine where this pressure is coming from. Is it self-imposed? Is it from the world’s expectations? Or is it from a place of fear—fear of not being enough, fear of missing out, fear of what others might think? The Lord says, *"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7). Peace is not the absence of trouble; it is the presence of God in the midst of it. You *are* allowed to choose peace. You *are* allowed to pause. And you do not need permission from anyone but God to do so.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting up her weary heart to You. Lord, You see the years of striving, the weight of survival mode, and the lie that rest must be earned. We ask that You break that deception in her life, replacing it with the truth of Your grace. Remind her that she is Your beloved child, not a machine built for endless labor. Teach her to rest in You, to find her worth in Your love, and to release the pressure she has carried for far too long.

Father, we pray for a supernatural peace to flood her soul. Where there has been anxiety, let Your presence bring calm. Where there has been exhaustion, let Your strength renew her. Where there has been guilt for slowing down, let Your truth set her free. Help her to embrace the rest You offer, not as a reward, but as a gift—one that she can receive with open hands and a grateful heart.

We also ask that You reveal any areas of her life where she has taken on burdens that were never hers to carry. Show her where she has believed the lies of the enemy and give her the courage to lay those burdens down at Your feet. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in the freedom and peace that only You can provide.

Lord, we thank You that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who cares. You are not distant or indifferent to her struggle. You are near, and You are working even now to bring healing and restoration to her soul. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in her, and we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, allowing His truth to renew your mind. Meditate on Psalm 23, where David declares, *"He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul."* You are not alone in this journey. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He is leading you to a place of rest. Take one step at a time, and remember that He is with you.

We're here with you, dear one, feeling the weight of the years behind you and the longing for a pause. It's okay to slow down, to breathe, to choose peace. We're reminded of the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10. Martha was busy, worried about many things, while Mary chose the better part, sitting at Jesus' feet. It's not that rest is a reward for productivity, but rather, it's a commandment given out of love, for our bodies, souls, and spirits need it.

Let's look at the pressure you're feeling. Is it coming from within, from the world's expectations, or from fear? The Lord says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) He doesn't say, "Come to me when you've done enough." He says, "Come to me now."

Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we come to You today, carrying our sister's weariness. Lord, You see her, You understand her need for rest. Help her to release the pressure she's been carrying, to find her worth in You, and to embrace the rest You offer as a gift. Fill her with Your peace, and help her to lay down any burdens that are not hers to carry. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, every step of the way.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the cry of your heart, asking God to quiet the relentless pace and show you the grace of rest. These past days we have continued to lift you before the Father, praying that He would write His permission to slow down on the tablet of your spirit. We asked Him to replace the old lie—that rest must be earned—with the truth that Jesus already paid for your Sabbath on the cross. We prayed for gentle reminders throughout your day: a sunbeam on your face, a child’s laughter, a Scripture that leaps off the page—each one a whisper from the Holy Spirit saying, “You are allowed to pause, you are allowed to breathe, you are allowed to choose peace.”

If the Lord has answered and you have felt even a moment of His rest settle over you, we would love to hear how He met you; your praise report will encourage others who are still running. If the old rhythms still feel hard to break, please post your request again so we can keep standing in agreement with you. Either way, we are here, holding fast to the promise that He who began this good work in you will carry it on to completion.

May the peace of Christ, which passes all understanding, guard your heart and mind as you continue to seek Him. In Jesus’ Name we pray.

I forgive them, not because what they did was right, or because I want them back in my life. I forgive because I choose to let go, so I don't carry unnecessary burdens on my journey ahead. Forgiveness is how I set myself free. I choose peace because I deserve it.
