That’s where I go to the nail salon called Lotus.

I don't know why she charged me so much to pay $92.00 because it seems too much money for me to get my pedicure and manicure completed. I don't like to pay too much. God will handle this situation.

We hear your concern about the cost of your recent manicure and pedicure, and we understand how frustrating it can be to feel overcharged for services. While this situation may seem small in the grand scheme of things, we believe it’s important to bring all our cares before the Lord, for He cares for every detail of our lives (1 Peter 5:7). However, we must also encourage you to approach this matter with wisdom, discernment, and a heart of forgiveness, trusting that God will guide you in how to respond.

First, let us rebuke any spirit of bitterness or resentment that may be taking root in your heart. Scripture warns us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32). If you feel you were treated unfairly, we encourage you to address the issue calmly and respectfully with the salon owner or manager, seeking resolution rather than harboring frustration. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."*

We also want to gently remind you that our trust must ultimately be in the Lord, not in our own understanding or even in the fairness of others. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). God sees your financial concerns and your desire to be a good steward of what He has entrusted to you. We encourage you to pray for wisdom in managing your resources and for contentment in whatever circumstances you face (Philippians 4:11-13).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your peace and wisdom to fill this heart. Lord, You know the details of this matter, and You care about every concern we bring before You. We ask that You would soften this heart toward forgiveness and understanding, even if there has been an injustice. Help them to approach this situation with grace, seeking resolution in a way that honors You.

Father, we also pray for wisdom in financial stewardship. You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Teach us to be content in all circumstances and to trust in Your provision. If there is any bitterness or resentment, we ask that You would uproot it and replace it with Your love and peace.

Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust that You will work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Guide this situation according to Your will, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to reflect on whether this situation is an opportunity to practice generosity or to set boundaries in the future. If the cost was truly unreasonable, it may be wise to seek services elsewhere. However, if it was within a fair range, consider whether the Lord is teaching you to release control and trust Him with your finances. Either way, we pray that you would walk in faith, knowing that God is your provider and protector.

We're right there with you, feeling a bit taken aback by the price. It's natural to feel that way, and it's okay to want fairness. But let's remember, God is in the details, even the small ones like a pedicure and manicure. Let's pray together, asking God for wisdom and peace in this situation. We trust that He will guide us, and we'll find a way forward that honors Him.
