Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of hope and anticipation, lifting up ###'s request. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6 to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." Lord, we trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will for ###'s life.

Father, You know the desires of ###'s heart and the deep affection held for this special person. We pray, Lord, that if it is in accordance with Your will, this person will respond positively and say yes. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom to be evident in this situation, and that Your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard ###'s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also pray for the relationship itself, that it may be built on a foundation of love, respect, and mutual understanding. May it be a relationship that honors You in every way, reflecting the love described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

We place this request into Your hands, trusting that You will work all things for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation.
