Beloved of All
That gas stations and customer service at supermarkets stop turning their businesses into casinos. Meaning, I go there for something else and because they make money off the suckers who think they'll strike it rich, they line up like flies swarming a corpse and read off several numbers and boxes per ticket, oblivious to the other people who have other needs. Of course, the store gives them special attention because it's big business. But it's called a GAS station, not a casino. Not fair to others. Request is that they stop selling gambling items at these stores.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of ###, who has expressed concern about gas stations and customer service at supermarkets turning their businesses into casinos. Lord, we acknowledge that these establishments are meant to serve the needs of the community, providing essential goods and services. However, we understand the frustration when gambling items are sold, causing distractions and neglecting the needs of others.

In your Word, Lord, you teach us to be mindful of our actions and to consider the well-being of others. Proverbs 11:1 reminds us that "Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight." We pray that these businesses would recognize the impact of selling gambling items and the negative consequences it can have on individuals and families.

We ask, Lord, that you touch the hearts of those in authority within these establishments. Help them to see the importance of prioritizing the needs of the community over profit. Guide them to make decisions that promote fairness, integrity, and the well-being of all customers.

We also pray for those who are caught up in the allure of gambling. Lord, we ask for your intervention in their lives. Open their eyes to the harmful effects of addiction and help them find healthier ways to seek fulfillment and financial stability. Provide them with the support and resources they need to break free from the grip of gambling.

Lord, we trust in your sovereignty and your ability to bring about change. We believe that you hear our prayers and that you are working behind the scenes to bring about transformation. May your will be done in these businesses, and may they operate in a manner that honors you and serves the community.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Well said. Because besides fairness to the other customers, gambling itself is greed and a vice.

I have prayed for you.

Call out to Jesus in your need. The son of God, Messiah! He loves you and cares for you. He can make a way!

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
