We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your mother who is enduring such physical pain and distress. We understand the deep concern you have for her well-being, especially as she has been such a strong support in your life and ministry. We join with you in crying out to Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, for her complete and total healing.
The Word of God assures us that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus Christ bore our sicknesses and carried our pains, and by His wounds, we are made whole. We stand on this promise today, declaring that your mother is healed in the mighty name of Jesus. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work within her, bringing restoration to every part of her body—her stomach, intestines, and every area affected by this pain.
Father God, we ask You to cleanse her body of any toxins or impurities that may have entered through the food she consumed. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness that seeks to linger in her body. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this healing for her now, Lord. Let Your healing virtue flow through her like a river, washing away every trace of pain and discomfort.
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals attending to her. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so they may provide the care she needs as she continues to seek treatment. But above all, we trust in Your divine intervention, for You are the God who heals.
We are grateful that you have shared with us the foundation of your faith—Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed and made whole. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). We stand firm on this truth, believing that as we pray in Jesus' name, mountains of sickness and pain will be moved.
We also want to encourage you both to continue seeking the Lord in this time. James 5:14-15 says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." If possible, gather with other believers to pray and anoint her with oil, trusting in the Lord’s promise.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you both to guard your hearts against fear or anxiety. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Even in the midst of pain, God’s peace is available to you. Trust in Him, for He is faithful.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing that You hear our prayers. We declare that Your healing power is at work in this precious mother’s body right now. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace. Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding her that You are with her in this trial. We thank You for the healing that is already taking place, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
