God has given you a pure heart, if you are born again. If you are having 'impure thoughts' then I encourage you to realize that we are responsible for the thoughts our mind thinks of. This is why Jesus told us to cast down those thoughts by thinking on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy. In other words, when an impure thought comes in, our first response is, Thank you, Father, that is not who I am anymore. That is not me. I receive your word that tells me I am holy, unblameable, and unreproveable in your sight. Jesus is made unto me wisdom and righteousness, and sanctification and redemption. I am not who I used to be and those thoughts are not my thoughts anymore. I reject them, and I take hold of truth. I am a child of God by faith in Christ. The love of God has been shed abroad in my heart and now, the Spirit of the Living God lives in me, and He helps me, teaches me, guides me into all truth. Thank you for loving me, thank you that my heart is pure before you. Thank you my conscience is clean and that I walk on paths of righteousness.

My life is not geared toward sin anymore because the power of sin has been broken in my life. I am not a filthy sinner, because the blood of Jesus has washed me and cleansed me by His precious blood. What can wash away my sin, nothing but the blood of Jesus. Who can make me whole again, nothing but the blood of Jesus.

The Father's will is for us to take hold of truth, to cast down any thought contrary to the word of God, and begin to speak and think and do what God has called us to do.

So I set you free in the name of Jesus, free from condemnation, free from guilt and shame, and I say, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
