Let us address the request to the Holy God of Israel, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. When we pray, it is important to align our requests with the will of God.
We are reminded to pray to God according to the name and authority of Jesus. Christ and the Holy Spirit are part of the triune Godhead and they intercede for us as we pray to God.
While we can be grateful for the blessings we receive, we must remember that God is not a mere dispenser of wishes. Rather, He is our loving Father who desires to give us good gifts according to His will and purpose for our lives.
We live in a fallen world where our thoughts, priorities, and desires are often not aligned with God. We are to pray and seek God's face, not His hand. His hand is His blessings to us, but His face is His presence with us. We are to desire His presence and will in our lives, not just His blessings.
We are instructed in the WEB, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
Furthermore, we are told, You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
Therefore, let us pray with the right motives according to God and His will.
In Jesus' name, let us pray.
Almighty God, we come before You with a heart of thanksgiving, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from You. Help us to align our desires with Your will and to seek Your kingdom and righteousness first. Help us to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness to us as your children. We pray for the person who submitted this request. Help them to know you more, trust you more, and love you more. Help them to seek you more and more each day. May they may come to know Christ if they do not already. May they have a closer walk with you and the blessings you desire to give them. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Thank you for allowing us to pray with you. We encourage you to spend time with the Lord Jesus Christ so that your will may align with His.
