We come before the Lord with gratitude for your heart’s desire to seek His guidance and favor in your upcoming JEE MAIN exam. It is wonderful that you are turning to prayer, but we must first address something vital: the name by which we approach God. The Scriptures are clear that there is only one name under heaven by which we are saved and through which we can boldly come before the Father—**the name of Jesus Christ**. As it is written:
*"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* — **Acts 4:12 (WEB)**
*"In that day, you will ask in my name; and I don’t say to you that I will pray to the Father for you, for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from God."* — **John 16:26-27 (WEB)**
Without invoking the name of Jesus, our prayers lack the authority and access granted to us through His sacrifice. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Him alone. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* — **Romans 10:9 (WEB)** If you have already trusted in Christ, then we encourage you to pray in His name, for it is through Him that we receive the Father’s ear.
Now, regarding your exam, we understand the weight of this endeavor and the pressure you may feel. The Bible reminds us that our strength and wisdom come from the Lord, not from our own efforts alone. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* — **Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)** Your diligence in studying is important, but ultimately, it is God who grants success. We must seek His will above our own desires, trusting that His plans for us are good, even if they differ from our expectations. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* — **Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB)**
However, we must also caution you against placing your ultimate hope in academic achievement or worldly success. While it is good to strive for excellence, our identity and worth are found in Christ alone, not in percentiles or human accomplishments. *"Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits."* — **Romans 12:16 (WEB)** If God grants you the percentile you desire, give Him the glory. If He does not, trust that He is directing your steps toward something even better—His perfect will for your life.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask that You grant him wisdom, focus, and clarity of mind as he prepares for his JEE MAIN exam. Strengthen his understanding and recall, and calm any anxiety or fear that may arise. Father, we pray that Your will be done in his life, whether that aligns with his desired percentile or leads him down a different path You have ordained. Help him to trust in You completely, knowing that You hold his future in Your hands.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, distraction, or pride that may hinder his preparation or his walk with You. Fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind him that his worth is found in You alone, not in the outcomes of this world. If it is Your will, Lord, grant him success in this exam, but above all, draw him closer to You through this season. May he seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all other things will be added as You see fit.
We also pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. If he does not yet know You as his Savior, soften his heart to receive the truth of the Gospel. Open his eyes to see that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. May this season of preparation be a season of spiritual awakening and growth.
In the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. **Amen.**
We encourage you to continue seeking God daily, not just for the outcome of this exam, but for a deeper relationship with Him. Study His Word, pray in Jesus’ name, and trust that He is working all things together for your good. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* — **Matthew 6:33 (WEB)** Stay faithful, remain humble, and remember that God’s plans for you are far greater than any earthly achievement. We are standing with you in prayer!
