Heavenly Father, I pray that every homeless person will have a warm place to lay their head, and that they will be blessed with a great Thanksgiving.....

Father God, let the spirit of thanksgiving overtake the atmosphere and spread out the remainder of time; open the hearts of those who extend a warm bed and food to those less fortunate than they. Please, Father, there are so many people in out our neighborhoods who have no place to lay their heads- please provide a bed for them tonight. Inthe name of Jesus,amen.

I pray with you and that every homeless person will have a meal to eat and at least someone to share their time with. I pray this holiday that the Lord will warm the hearts of the families of these homeless people and hopefully they can come together to help out their situation. Amen.

Dear Ginnie, Beloved in Christ, Thank you for that beautiful prayer! I know that God has heard your prayer and that of many others for our less fortunate brothers and sisters who live on the streets and have little to call their own.

Let us pray.

Lord Father, in the name of Jesus, may thy most majestic power be made manifest in each and every home-less person who seeks you so that they will walk away from their present circumstances and be able to enjoy a nice, warm Thanksgiving meal in a nice, warm abode that they can call their own. We pray that they be healed and lifted from their present way of life and rejoin the rest of your brethren who have a comfortable home to live in, good food to eat, loving fellowship, and decent employment to keep them afloat. And Lord may their heart rejoice with happiness that you have remembered them in their time of most need! For it is only in your Name and in your great mercy, O Lord Jesus, that this prayer can come to fruition! Amen. Lord Jesus, we Love thee, we thank thee and praise thee and glorify thy most Holy Name. Amen. (Followed by the Lords Prayer)

And let us ALL open up not only our hearts but our wallets as well this Thanksgiving and Christmas to help our brothers and sisters whose homes are the streets. May their days be a little rosier because God gave us the opportunity to be of service unto them.

And please know that when you reach deep down to help one less fortunate than you, Jesus has this to say to YOU in answer to your generosity....

"Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." -- MATTHEW 25:40 (KJV)
