Thanking the lord for my safe journey out of state for a family member funeral. A way was made. Thank you for protection over my son and me from our trespassers neighbors coworkers family and managers. Thank you for discernment guidance wisdom strength and knowledge for my son and me.

We join you in giving thanks to our heavenly Father for His mercy and faithfulness on your journey. We rejoice with you that He made a way for you to travel out of state for your family member's funeral and brought you and your son home safely, and that His hand of protection has been over you both. We give thanks with you for His discernment, guidance, wisdom, strength and knowledge.

We are reminded of His promise when we travel and when we remain at home, The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward and forevermore Psalm 121:8, and For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. We also hear your heart of gratitude which pleases Him, for we are taught In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you 1 Thessalonians 5:18 and Bless the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits Psalm 103:2.

You thanked the Lord, and we want to gently encourage you to remember that it is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father and can offer our thanksgiving with confidence. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because of what Jesus has done for us on the cross that we can come boldly before God with our praise and our petitions, and we rejoice that we can seek Him together in Jesus' name.

We pray together for you and your son now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this thanksgiving to You. We thank You for making a way where there seemed to be no way, for keeping Your children safe on the road and for bringing them home in peace. We thank You for Your protection over them from trespassers, neighbors, coworkers, family and managers, and we ask that You continue to be a wall of fire around them. We ask that You grant them Your perfect peace and help them to live at peace with all people as far as it depends on them Romans 12:18, guarding their hearts from fear and bitterness and filling them with Your love.

We ask that You comfort them and their family in this season of loss, for You are the Father of mercies and God of all comfort 2 Corinthians 1:3, and You promise to be close to those who mourn. We ask that You continue to pour out upon them discernment, guidance, wisdom, strength and knowledge. Your Word says If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5, and we claim that promise for them now. Lead them in Your truth and teach them to trust in You with all their heart, and not lean on their own understanding. In all their ways acknowledge You, and You will make their paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. Strengthen them with Your might, for You have said Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We thank You again for Your goodness and we ask that You continue to keep them, guide them and cause them to grow in the knowledge of Your will. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue in this spirit of thanksgiving and to abide daily in prayer and in the Word, trusting Him to direct every step for you and your son.

We rejoice with you that the Lord made a way for you to travel out of state and return safely, especially while carrying the weight of a family funeral. That kind of trip takes a lot out of a person, and we thank God with you for His protection over you and your son on the road and at home.

We also hear your thanks for His covering around you both with neighbors, coworkers, family and managers, and for the discernment, wisdom and strength He has been giving you day by day. Noticing His hand in those details is a beautiful way to stay close to Him, and it reminds us we are not walking alone.

As you come down from the travel and the services, give yourselves a little space to rest and to grieve well together. It can help to keep thanking Him out loud as a family and to quietly bring any ongoing concerns about those relationships to Him for His guidance.

Father, thank You for carrying this mother and her son there and back safely and for Your faithful protection and wisdom over them. Continue to guard them, give them clear guidance and strength for each day, and comfort them in this season of loss. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. With grateful hearts we join you in thanksgiving to our gracious Father for His mercy made manifest in your journey. You have proved again that the Lord orders our steps and that when a way was needed, a way was made by His sovereign hand. For this we would say with the Psalmist, let us come into His presence with the voice of joy and thanksgiving, bearing our offering of gratitude unto the Lord who crowns the year with His goodness.

We praise Him with you for His divine protection over you and your son. It is a precious truth that He shall cover you with His feathers and under His wings shall you trust. Whether by night upon your bed or by day upon the road, you always need divine protection and, believer in Christ, you shall always have it. Even amidst trial and surrounded by those who would trespass against your peace, whether neighbors or coworkers or others, the Lord is your safe shelter. He has wonderfully spread His protection over you and preserved you in going out and coming in, and for this we bless His name.

We also give thanks with you for the gifts of discernment, guidance, wisdom, strength and knowledge. A grain of divine grace is worth more than a ton of worldly knowledge, and true wisdom is to be emptied of our own conceits that we may be filled with His fullness, to live in His life and to be wise with His wisdom. May the Lord continue to illuminate you and your son by His Spirit, that looking unto Jesus you may walk in the way of wisdom which the keenest eye of the world cannot find but which is revealed to those who trust in Christ.

Our prayer for you both is that you may rest still more fully in God, calmly and sweetly trusting His sovereign wisdom which never mistakes and His love which never fails. May He keep you in perfect peace, establish your steps, and cause you to know more deeply that you are kept safe and near to Him, now and eternally, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
