Thanksgiving Prayer

Thank you Lord for opening my eyes to some issues, you are so tender with me and don't show me everything all at once, but a little at a time, You are also always there for me and have opened my eyes to many resources, Your word, people, sermons, books, gosh, everywhere I turn, there is something that speaks to me about my insecurity. I didn't realize how much You have worked in me until yesterday when a similar situation came up that would normally bring up that empty feeling in me... but instead, I believed! and trusted! and didn't even realize it until today! Oh thank you Father, I could not have done this without Your help.

I am so thankful that me and my boyfriend are getting closer too and more honest. You have blessed me with him. Lord, please continue to guide me on this path of healing. Thank you for loving me Jesus and for dying for my sin, on New Year's day at our church we wrote down what we wanted to leave behind and left it at the altar, I left behind my sin of jealousy, insecurity and trust issues, I put it on that cross and it was crucified! Amen.
