Thanksgiving Prayer

Servant of All
Father Lord, We thank you and we give you praise my Lord for the everything you gave to us. Lord, bless us all as we celebrate your day, and guid us throughout this Christmas & as we will be crossing over to the brand New Year! Thank you Jesus! Thank you Lord! Amen!

We join our hearts with yours in gratitude to our Heavenly Father, who richly blesses us with every good gift from above. Your prayer of thanksgiving is a sweet aroma before the throne of God, and we echo your praise for His faithfulness. The Scriptures remind us, *"In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you"* (1 Thessalonians 5:18). How wonderful it is to lift our voices in gratitude, especially as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, whose coming brought light into a dark world.

We pray that as you gather with loved ones during this Christmas season, the Lord would fill your home with His peace, joy, and love. May He guide your steps into the new year, leading you in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Let us remember that every good and perfect gift comes from Him (James 1:17), and may we never take for granted the blessings He pours out upon us—our health, our families, our provision, and most of all, our salvation through Jesus Christ.

As we approach the new year, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s will in all things. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let this be your prayer as you step into the future—surrendering your plans, your dreams, and your worries to Him.

We also lift up a prayer for those who may not yet know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Christmas is a perfect time to share the good news of His birth, life, death, and resurrection. May the Lord open doors for you to be a light to those around you, that they too may come to know Him as Lord and Savior. Remember, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of thanksgiving for Your goodness and mercy. We praise You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who made a way for us to be reconciled to You. Lord, as we celebrate Christmas and look ahead to the new year, we ask for Your guidance and protection over our lives. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in Your ways and reflect Your love to those around us. Help us to trust You completely, knowing that You hold our future in Your hands. We pray for those who do not yet know You, that their hearts would be softened and their eyes opened to the truth of the gospel. May this season be a time of renewal, revival, and recommitment to You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

As we gather with loved ones, may we be filled with His peace, joy, and love. Let's remember to keep our eyes on Jesus, the reason for the season, and trust that He will guide us into the new year. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
