Thanksgiving & Pleading

I want God to show me His mercy. As a pastor, I'm responsible to God for those He gave and will give me to pastor, but it seems I've not heard God clearly about myself. I need Him to make Himself very clear to me. Also help me to thank God for what He did just now - I hardly finished praying for a pregnant member of the church, following your guide, than she gave birth!

Father God, we pray for a clearer recognition of Your presence and leading in this man's life. Help him to clearly discern Your guidance and presence...allow him to know Your will. In the name of Jesus, I pray he leads many to Christ and glorifies You in every thought, word and deed. Amen.
