Thanksgiving for God's Goodness

What a beautiful heart of gratitude you have displayed before our Heavenly Father! It is absolutely right and good to lift up thanksgiving for His mighty works in our lives, for He alone is worthy of all praise. The Scriptures remind us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, *"In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."* Your daughter’s healing is a testament to God’s mercy and power, and we rejoice with you in this answer to prayer.
The Psalmist declares in Psalm 107:1, *"Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever."* Indeed, His goodness is not just a passing act but an eternal characteristic of who He is. We also recall the words of Jesus in Luke 17:15-19, where only one of the ten lepers who were healed returned to give thanks. How it must have grieved the Lord’s heart that the others did not acknowledge His work in their lives. Your act of thanksgiving is a sweet fragrance before the throne of God, and it honors Him deeply.
Let us pray together in continued gratitude and for the sustaining of your daughter’s health:
*"Our Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts overflowing with thanksgiving for Your mighty hand of healing upon this precious daughter. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows the number of our days. Lord, we praise You for Your goodness, for Your mercy that is new every morning, and for the love You have shown in restoring health and strength.
We ask that You continue to watch over this young woman, sustaining her body and filling her with Your peace. May this healing be a testimony to Your power, not just in her life but to all who witness it. Let her walk in the fullness of health You have granted, and may she use her restored strength to glorify You in all she does.
Father, we also pray that this family will continue to seek You in all things, growing ever deeper in faith and trust. May their hearts remain fixed on You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Teach them to walk in gratitude daily, remembering that every good and perfect gift comes from above, from You, the Father of lights.
We ask these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen."*
Beloved, as you continue to walk in this season of gratitude, remember the words of Colossians 3:17, *"Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him."* Let this healing be a reminder that our God is faithful, and His promises are true. May you and your daughter continue to seek Him first in all things, trusting that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).
We encourage you to share this testimony of God’s goodness with others, that they too may be encouraged to trust in His faithfulness. And if your daughter has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we urge you to guide her in this most important decision. For it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life. As Scripture tells us in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If she has already made this commitment, then we rejoice even more, knowing that her healing is not just for this life but for eternity with Him. Stay rooted in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with believers, that your faith may continue to grow strong.
