Thanksgiving And Guidance

Lord, I thank you for everything that you have gifted me with in this life. My family, friends, my studies. I mean if I look into perspective, I will see that there are so many people who are living in very tough situations but still they are filled with joy. There are people who get a lot lower marks than I do, and they are happier and profound in the Lord. I get fairly good marks and maybe because I have been too acquainted to very high marks. Lord, I realize that there are moments when I dishonored you and disregarded your promises in my life. Lord, I need forgiveness for my sins, in my thoughts, in my words, in my actions, and in what I failed to do. Please give me the grace and courage to move on. Please help me be the person that you want me to be. I need guidance and I need direction. My sense of wellbeing has been highly affected with what I have been going through. I have been used to easily lead with high scores but I had to come to a place to realize that it was you who gifted me and that I am not necessarily entitled to be the best performer in my class. Lord, I pray for guidance so that I may be able to do what you want me to do. I need to just be all that you want me to be.

I bring my family to you. Please guide them and me. Help us live a life that glorifies and honors you. Please help us be all you want us to be. Lord, I trust in you and I know that you are in control, please lead us to all the places you want us to go and help us honor you with every step we take. Lord, may your name be forever lifted on high. I pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Amen
