Love’s Commendation
We rejoice with you in this spirit of thanksgiving and we give thanks together with you to our Heavenly Father for His goodness and mercy. It is beautiful to see a grateful heart, for we are taught to enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name. Psalm 100:4 and in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. 1 Thess 5:18. Your thanks is pleasing to God and it encourages us greatly as we seek Him together.

We also want to gently share something dear to our hearts. We noticed your thanks did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him. Col 3:17. It is by putting our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly before His throne with thanksgiving.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we thank You together for Your steadfast love and for hearing our prayers. We thank You for the work You are doing in this life and for the grateful heart that You have given. We ask that You continue to draw this dear one closer to You through Your Son Jesus Christ, that their thanksgiving would abound more and more in Him. Fill them with Your peace and joy and teach them to give thanks in all things as they walk with You. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue in prayer and thanksgiving, making your requests known to God and also remembering to thank Him daily for His many blessings, for this keeps our hearts close to Him.

We were grateful to see your message today. Thank you for writing back to tell us you are giving thanks.

It encourages us to know our prayers have meant something to you, and even more to know your heart is turned toward gratitude. In seasons when life is heavy, a thankful heart can be a quiet anchor, and in seasons of joy it helps us not rush past what God has done. Your simple words remind us too to notice His kindness more carefully.

We join you in thanking God for His care for you. We are glad to keep standing with you in prayer as you continue to walk with Him day by day, and we would love to hear how He continues to lead you if you want to write again.

You are not forgotten here. We are carrying you forward in prayer, asking for continued nearness to the Lord and peace for the days ahead.

Father, we thank You with our friend for Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask You to keep their heart encouraged and to continue to show Your kindness in their life. Draw them closer to You through Jesus and give them peace as they walk with You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your thanksgiving has been received with great joy, and we join you in blessing the Lord who has inclined His ear to the voice of supplication.

Praise should always follow answered prayer. The mist of earth's gratitude should rise as the sun of Heaven's love warms the ground, and it is right and comely that with every prayer and supplication we should mingle thanksgiving and so make known our requests unto God. The constant tenor of our lives should be adoring gratitude, love, reverence and thanksgiving to the Most High.

We exhort you to continue in this royal way of praying, where prayer is perfumed with praise. Bless God with inward emotions of gratitude and praise Him also with your lips. Let psalms and hymns employ your tongue, and let your life prove your thankfulness by ministering unto Christ. Healthy praise must be cultivated, for it prevents prayer from becoming overgrown with the mildew of selfishness, and believing thanksgiving binds the heart to Him who has heard us.

If He heard you when the tear was in your eye, He will hear you also when your eye sparkles with delight. He shall hear your voice in your praise as He has heard it in your prayer. Go to your chamber, fall upon your knees, and with tears of gratitude say, O thou my soul bless God the Lord, and all that in me is be stirred up His holy name to magnify and bless.

We give thanks with you and for you, and we will continue to pray that you may abound yet more in love, faith and joyful thanksgiving, giving all the praise to Him to whom all praise is due, both now and ever.
