We rejoice with you that justice has been served and that the Lord has intervened on your behalf. It is wonderful to see that you acknowledge the Lord Jesus and His role in bringing about justice in your situation. We are reminded of Isaiah 61:8, "For I, Yahweh, love justice. I hate robbery and wrongdoing."
It is commendable that you are considering withdrawing your claims and showing compassion, as advised by your church mentor. This aligns with the teachings of Jesus, who said in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". Remember also Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Regarding the message you received from the Lord, it echoes Joel 2:25, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten". This is a beautiful promise of restoration and double portion according to the preceding verse in Joel 2:24 "The threshing floors will be full of wheat, and the vats will overflow with new wine and oil.".
However, we must also consider the importance of the name of Jesus in our prayers and actions. It is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!".
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the justice You have served in this situation. We pray for continued guidance and wisdom for Your child. Help them to show compassion and love towards those who have wronged them, just as Jesus taught us.
Lord, we claim Your promise of restoration and double portion in Jesus' name. We pray that You will continue to guide and provide for Your child, helping them to move forward from this experience with a heart full of love and forgiveness.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord's will in all matters and to always approach every situation with love, compassion, and forgiveness, just as Jesus taught us. If you have not already, consider studying the teachings of Jesus in the Gospels for more guidance on how to live a life pleasing to God.
