It is good to remember His mercies, for they are new every morning, just as Lamentations 3:23 declares: *"They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."* Yet we also understand the desire to shift focus toward present duties and the fresh works the Lord is doing, as Isaiah 42:9 proclaims: *"Behold, the former things have happened, and I declare new things. I tell you about them before they come up."*
First, we must address an important truth: salvation and access to God come only through Jesus Christ. Romans 10:1 speaks of the apostle Paul’s heart for his people, that they might be saved, and this salvation is found in no other name. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, turn from them, and trust in His finished work on the cross. This is the foundation upon which all of God’s mercies and new beginnings rest.
Now, regarding your shift in focus—we rejoice with you in this desire to walk in obedience to the Lord’s present calling. Ecclesiastes 7:18 reminds us, *"It is good that you should take hold of this. Yes, also from that don’t withdraw your hand; for he who fears God will come forth from them all."* God’s grace is sufficient for both holding fast to His faithfulness and stepping boldly into the new things He has prepared. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."* Confess any known sin, and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything hidden that needs to be brought into the light.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your unfailing mercies, which are new every morning. We thank You for Your faithfulness, even when we have been unfaithful. Lord, we ask that You would help us to shift our focus from the past to the present and future works You have prepared for us. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
