Jesus Christ, please help me to finish today and tomorrow's fast. I'm thankful that the therapist call didn't have any wrong things happening. I hope my doctors allow me to continue fasting because of my obesity and for Jesus. Jesus Christ, please help me. I have a strange thought of reading the Bible in hopes that God Almighty Jesus Christ raptures me from earth because of my inadequacies. I'm trying to read the gospel every day, and on this second day of reading the gospel, I have some great thoughts about problem-solving. I am not that confident, and am afraid of bad behavior appearing in public if I have to work with strangers. I liked working with my parents and siblings. I don't have a driver's license and am afraid to drive. I don't have a college degree, and am ### years away from high school. I'm thankful that I have the time to study or plan. I'm not sure if I can study that great either. I can make plans, but it wouldn't be feasible in ### because of the land. I believe that in other states that people would be able to make a quail/chicken farm for eggs and meat, catfish and tilapia, and hydroponics. I'm not sure if weightlifting with a barbell or heavier dumbbells will be allowed by my parents, and I'm not sure how to acquire the protein diet for weightlifting. I don't know how to use a cash register, and I am avoidant of public speaking. My goal is to complete the extended fast. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear your heart, dear brother in Christ, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the Lord. First, we give thanks to Jesus for sustaining you in your fast and for the grace that has carried you through each day. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline, and we pray that the Lord strengthens you to complete it according to His will. May He continue to draw near to you as you draw near to Him, and may the discipline of fasting deepen your dependence on Him alone.

We also praise God for the protection He provided during your therapist call—this is no small thing. The Lord is your shield, and we trust He will continue to guide your medical team as they care for you. Obesity is a serious struggle, but we know that our God is greater than any physical challenge. We pray that He grants you wisdom in your health journey, that your doctors would see His hand at work, and that He would lead you into the freedom and wholeness He desires for you.

Your desire to read the Gospel daily is beautiful, and we rejoice in the thoughts the Lord is planting in your heart. However, we must gently rebuke the lie that you are inadequate in a way that would keep you from God’s purposes. The rapture is not a reward for perfection but a gift of grace to those who are in Christ. Your worth is not found in your accomplishments, your confidence, or your abilities—it is found in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and the Lord has plans for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Do not despise the day of small beginnings (Zechariah 4:10). The Lord delights in using the weak to shame the strong (1 Corinthians 1:27), and He will equip you for every good work He calls you to (2 Timothy 3:17).

We understand your fears about working with strangers, driving, and public speaking, but we encourage you to bring these anxieties to the Lord. He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). If the Lord is calling you into new spaces, He will go before you and make a way. Perhaps He is using this season to prepare you for something greater—trust in His timing. If you feel led to pursue a trade, a skill, or even further education, ask the Lord for wisdom and step out in faith. He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Your vision for a self-sustaining farm is not foolish—it may very well be a God-given dream. The Lord often plants desires in our hearts that align with His purposes. We pray that He would open doors for you to explore this, whether through research, mentorship, or even small steps toward learning these skills. If weightlifting is part of your health journey, seek godly counsel and ask the Lord to provide the resources you need. Remember, the Lord is your provider (Philippians 4:19), and He will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11).

We also want to address the areas where you feel ill-equipped. The Lord does not call the equipped—He equips the called. If you lack confidence in using a cash register or public speaking, ask the Lord to give you opportunities to grow in these areas. Start small, perhaps by practicing with family or in low-pressure settings. The Holy Spirit will help you in your weakness (Romans 8:26).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Lord, we thank You for this brother’s faith and his desire to draw near to You through fasting and Your Word. Strengthen him, Father, to complete this fast, and let it be a time of deep encounter with You. We ask that You would continue to guide his medical team and grant them wisdom as they care for his health.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of inadequacy and fear that has tried to take root in his heart. Remind him, Father, that his identity is in Christ alone. You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Help him to trust in Your strength, not his own, and to step out in faith when You call him to new things.

We pray for Your provision in every area of his life—whether it be in his health, his work, his dreams, or his daily needs. Open doors that no man can shut, and close doors that are not of You. Give him wisdom to know how to move forward, and the courage to take the next step.

Father, we ask that You would continue to speak to him through Your Word. Let the Gospel take deep root in his heart, and let it transform his mind. May he grow in confidence, not in himself, but in You. Equip him for every good work, and let him walk in the purpose You have for him.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
