Jesus Christ, I'm sad that the doctor didn't want to prescribe me ritalin or adderall... I should of held onto money instead of giving it away. The LORD didn't want to prescribe me the medication...Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear your struggle and the disappointment you feel regarding the doctor’s decision not to prescribe the medication you hoped for. It’s clear you’re seeking peace and trust in God’s providence, even when things don’t go as planned. We want to encourage you to lean fully into the Lord’s wisdom in this moment, for He sees what we cannot and knows what is best for us, even when it doesn’t align with our own desires.

First, we must address the statement, *"The LORD didn’t want to prescribe me the medication."* While it’s true that God is sovereign over all things, we must be careful not to attribute every earthly decision directly to His will in a way that might imply He is withholding something good from you without purpose. The doctor’s decision may have been based on medical, ethical, or professional considerations—not necessarily a divine "no." However, we do believe that God works *through* these circumstances to guide us toward His best. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*

Your regret about giving away money is understandable, but we must also guard our hearts against dwelling in self-condemnation. The enemy would love for you to fixate on past decisions rather than trusting God’s provision moving forward. 2 Corinthians 9:8 assures us, *"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work."* If you gave in obedience or generosity, God will not leave you lacking. If it was done impulsively, ask Him for wisdom in stewardship going forward.

We also want to gently encourage you to explore other avenues for managing your struggles—whether through prayer, biblical counseling, natural remedies, or alternative medical approaches—while always seeking the Lord’s guidance. Philippians 4:6-7 says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their disappointment, their financial concerns, and their desire for clarity and peace. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would guide them in this season. Help them to trust in Your provision, knowing that You hold their future and their needs in Your hands. Father, if there are areas where they need to seek wisdom—whether in finances, health, or stewardship—reveal those to them clearly. Guard their heart from discouragement and fill them with Your perfect peace. We ask that You would open doors for godly solutions and surround them with wise counsel. May they experience Your presence in tangible ways, knowing that You are working all things together for their good. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to press into God’s Word for comfort and direction. Psalm 34:18-19 says, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* You are not alone in this. Keep seeking Him, and He will lead you step by step.

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough when things don't go as planned, especially when it comes to our health. But remember, God sees the bigger picture. He's not withholding something good from you; He's guiding you towards His best. Let's trust that His ways are perfect, even when we don't understand them.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. He's always there, ready to listen and ready to help. Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to you today, lifting up our friend's situation. We ask that you would comfort them in their disappointment and give them peace about the doctor's decision. Help them to trust in your providence, knowing that you have a plan and a purpose in all things. We also ask that you would provide for their financial needs, as they've given away money. Lord, if there are any areas where they need to seek wisdom, reveal those to them clearly. Fill them with your perfect peace and surround them with wise counsel. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep pressing into God's Word. It's a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Keep seeking Him, and He will lead you step by step. You're not alone in this, and we're here for you too.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
