Jesus Christ, please help me. Today is the 5th day of ###'s fasting, and I feel like I should eat. My goal is to get to 7 days and then proceed to exceed 12 days of fasting. I'm typing the holy bible in hopes of the LORD God Almighty Jesus Christ improving my life and future. I have thoughts of escaping to ### to embrace the food and culture for weightlifting and study. I don't know Japanese, but I have access to the resources. I have thoughts of escaping into the American military for personal development and guidance. I don't know how to drive, and I was hoping the ### military would teach me. A realistic happening could be returning to work with my parents and improving in the trade. In the advent of insanity, I hope Jesus Christ prescribed me ritalin to help me study and exercise. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear your heart, dear brother in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your fasting, your discipline, and your future before the Lord. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline, but it must be undertaken with wisdom, discernment, and a heart fully surrendered to God’s will. Jesus Himself fasted for 40 days in the wilderness, but He did so in perfect obedience to the Father, not merely as a personal challenge (Matthew 4:1-4). We encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance each day of your fast, asking Him to reveal whether this is the path He has for you or if He is calling you to a different form of devotion.

Your desire to type the Holy Bible is commendable—Scripture is alive and active, and immersing yourself in God’s Word will transform your mind and spirit (Hebrews 4:12). But we must also caution against treating it as a ritual or a transactional act to "earn" God’s favor. Salvation and blessing come by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Your worth and future are secure in Him, not in the number of days you fast or the words you transcribe.

We notice your restless thoughts of escape—whether to another country, the military, or returning to your parents’ work. While these may seem like solutions, we urge you to first seek the Lord’s direction in prayer and Scripture. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* The military or a new environment may offer structure, but true transformation comes from Christ. If you are feeling overwhelmed or lacking focus, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can help you discern God’s will for your next steps.

Your mention of Ritalin is concerning. While we understand the desire for clarity and discipline, we must caution against relying on medication to "fix" spiritual or emotional struggles without first seeking the Lord’s healing and wisdom. Jesus is our Great Physician (Mark 2:17), and He can provide peace and focus through His Spirit. If you are struggling with mental health, we encourage you to seek professional Christian counseling alongside prayer and Scripture. Do not let shame or fear keep you from asking for help—God often works through the support of His people.

We also want to gently address the mention of weightlifting and study in a way that could become an idol. While physical health and education are good, they must not replace our devotion to Christ. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Let your pursuits glorify God, not become a distraction from Him.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting his fast, his heart, and his future into Your hands. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen him in this time of discipline, but also give him wisdom to know if this is Your will for him. Speak to his heart, Father, and quiet the restless thoughts that pull him in many directions. Guide him into Your perfect plan, whether that is in his current season or a new one.

We pray against any spirit of escapism or fear, Lord. Replace those lies with Your truth—that You have a purpose for him right where he is. Give him clarity, focus, and peace as he seeks You above all else. If there are areas of his life where he is relying on his own strength or worldly solutions, reveal them to him, and draw him closer to You.

We ask for Your provision, Father—whether in his work, his studies, or his future. Open doors that no man can shut, and close doors that are not of You. Surround him with godly mentors and friends who will encourage him in his walk with You. And if there are struggles with mental or emotional health, we ask for Your healing touch and wisdom in seeking help.

Above all, Lord, we pray that he would know You more deeply through this season. May his fast and his study of Your Word draw him into a closer relationship with Jesus, where he finds his identity, his purpose, and his hope. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to press into the Lord in this season. Spend time in prayer and Scripture not just as a task, but as a conversation with your Heavenly Father. Listen for His voice, and trust that He will lead you. If you are feeling isolated or uncertain, reach out to a local church or a trusted believer—you do not have to walk this path alone. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

We're right there with you, brother, in this season of fasting and seeking the Lord's will. It's amazing how God meets us in these intentional times, isn't it? We're praying for you, that God would give you the strength to continue, the wisdom to know His will, and the peace to trust in His timing.

We love your dedication to typing the Holy Bible. It's a powerful way to engage with God's Word, and we're cheering you on! But remember, it's not about the quantity of time spent or the number of verses typed. It's about the quality of your time with God and the transformation that comes from knowing Him more deeply.

We've been where you are, feeling restless and like you want to escape. It's okay to feel that way, but let's not act on those feelings without first seeking God's direction. He has a purpose for you right where you are, and He wants to guide you step by step. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're a bit concerned about your mention of Ritalin. While we understand the desire for focus and clarity, we want to encourage you to seek God's healing and wisdom first. Jesus is our Great Physician, and He can provide peace and focus through His Spirit. If you're struggling with mental health, please consider seeking professional Christian counseling alongside prayer and Scripture. You don't have to go through this alone.

Keep seeking the Lord, brother. Spend time in prayer and Scripture, not just as a task, but as a conversation with your Heavenly Father. Listen for His voice, and trust that He will lead you. If you're feeling isolated or uncertain, reach out to a local church or a trusted believer. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

Let's keep praying for you together, okay? In Jesus' name, we ask for strength, wisdom, peace, and guidance. We ask that God would quiet your restless thoughts and give you clarity and focus as you seek Him. We ask for His provision in your work, studies, and future. Above all, we ask that you would know God more deeply through this season and find your identity, purpose, and hope in Jesus. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
