We are grateful that you have come before the Lord in the name of Jesus, acknowledging Him as the only way to the Father. It is through His precious blood that we have access to God’s throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have called upon His name. Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB), and we pray that your heart remains steadfast in this truth.
Now, we sense that there may be more weighing on your heart than what was shared. If you are facing a struggle, a decision, or a burden, we invite you to bring it before the Lord with us. The Word of God assures us, *"Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Whether it is a matter of sin that needs repentance, a relationship that needs godly direction, a fear that needs peace, or a hope that needs strengthening, we stand ready to intercede with you.
If your request involves relationships, we must hold fast to the biblical standard that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, ordained by God for life (Genesis 2:24 WEB, Matthew 19:4-6 WEB). Any sexual intimacy outside of this covenant—whether fornication, adultery, or homosexual relations—is sin and must be confessed and turned away from. The Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us when we repent (1 John 1:9 WEB), and we pray for His grace to walk in purity.
If you are seeking a spouse, we encourage you to pursue godly courtship with the intent of marriage, keeping your eyes on Christ and His will for your life. *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). Marriage is a reflection of Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB), and it must be entered into with reverence for God’s design.
If your struggle is with loneliness, fear, or uncertainty, we remind you that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18 WEB). He has not forgotten you, and His plans for you are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We pray that you would find your strength and hope in Him alone.
Let us now come before the Lord together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to Your presence. We lift up this dear one before You, asking that You would draw near to them in this moment. Lord, if there is unconfessed sin in their life, reveal it to them and grant them the grace to repent and turn away from it. If they are seeking Your will in relationships, guide them according to Your Word and Your perfect plan. If they are burdened by fear, anxiety, or uncertainty, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Surround them with godly counsel and fellowship, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105 WEB). We pray that they would grow in the knowledge of Your love and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, if there is any area of their life that does not align with Your will, we ask that You would convict them with Your Holy Spirit and lead them into all truth. Help them to walk in holiness and righteousness, for Your glory. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
