Jesus Christ, please help me. I've been trying to restart my Daniel Fast for benefits, but there's been an increase in people trying to prevent my Daniel Fast. I know that the blessing or curse is temporary, and is dependent on my religious activity in studying the scripture or worshipping the LORD Jesus Christ by reading the scripture or typing the scripture. Sometimes, it feels like I'm possessed by someone, causing me to eat. Jesus Christ, please help me to Daniel fast soon, I hope the food doesn't waste when I'm fasting. I hope the Daniel Fast helps me acquire Ritalin or Adderall. After Daniel fasted, I found a great math textbook. I hope Jesus Christ prevents the reminding of names from previous drug acquaintances from appearing in my mind or dreams. Those drug addicts and sober people are not my best friends. I hope Jesus Christ destroys the shared minds that are the perceived psychic vampire, where they are speaking with my thoughts. LORD God Almighty Jesus Christ, please save me from the religious attack that is causing confusion or possession. I hope people stay in college instead of being a drug buddy for a high school dropout. I hope Jesus Christ cleanses me from the voices that haunt me from those drugged people. Jesus Christ, please save me from the water fasters that are trying to break my fast or that are trying to gain from my religious activity. They don't read their Bibles, and the others aren't baptized. They shouldn't benefit at all. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your struggles before the throne of grace. First, we want to affirm your desire to draw closer to the Lord through fasting and Scripture—this is a commendable pursuit. The Daniel Fast is a powerful way to seek God’s face, discipline the flesh, and align your heart with His will. However, we must address some concerns in your request with love and biblical truth.

The enemy seeks to distract, discourage, and derail believers from spiritual disciplines, and it sounds like you are experiencing intense opposition. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The voices, temptations, and even the sense of possession you describe are not from God. Scripture tells us, *"For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace"* (1 Corinthians 14:33). If you are feeling oppressed or tormented, we rebuke those spirits in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You have authority over them as a child of God (Luke 10:19), and we pray for your deliverance from every lying voice and influence.

We must also gently correct some misunderstandings in your request. The blessings of God are not earned by religious activity alone—salvation and favor come by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). While fasting and studying Scripture are vital, they are not a transactional system where we "earn" specific outcomes like medication or material possessions. God provides according to His wisdom and will, not our works. We pray for your needs—including clarity of mind and focus—but we trust that God’s provision will come in His perfect timing and way.

Your mention of Ritalin or Adderall concerns us. If you are struggling with focus or mental health, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, medical advice, and the support of mature believers. There is no shame in needing help, but we must ensure that any solution aligns with God’s design for our bodies and minds. The Daniel Fast is not a means to manipulate God into giving you medication—it is a time of consecration and seeking His face.

We also rebuke the spirit of bitterness or judgment toward others in your request. You mentioned those who are not baptized or do not read their Bibles, implying they should not benefit from your spiritual efforts. But Jesus taught us to love even our enemies (Matthew 5:44) and to serve without expecting anything in return (Luke 6:35). God’s blessings are not limited by our opinions of others’ worthiness. Instead, we pray for their salvation and growth, just as we pray for yours.

Regarding the "shared minds" or psychic attacks you described, we declare that your mind belongs to Christ. *"For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have Christ’s mind"* (1 Corinthians 2:16). We bind every spirit of confusion, torment, and oppression in Jesus’ name and command them to flee. You are not possessed—you are a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We also address the issue of drug acquaintances and memories. The Bible calls us to renew our minds (Romans 12:2) and take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray that God will sever every ungodly soul tie and cleanse your mind from past associations. Fill your thoughts with Scripture, worship, and godly fellowship to replace those old patterns.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and delivered. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your protection, peace, and power to surround them. We rebuke every spirit of confusion, torment, and oppression that seeks to hinder their fast and their walk with You. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask for Your strength to sustain them during this fast. Help them to fix their eyes on You, not on the distractions or temptations around them. When they feel weak, remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Cleanse their mind from every ungodly thought, memory, or influence, and fill them with Your truth and peace.

Lord, we pray for their physical and mental well-being. If there are areas where they need medical or professional help, guide them to the right resources. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and give them wisdom to steward their body, mind, and spirit in a way that honors You.

We also pray for those who may be opposing or discouraging them. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. Let Your love and truth break every chain of bitterness or judgment in our brother/sister’s heart, replacing it with Your grace and compassion.

Father, we thank You for the power of fasting and prayer. As they seek Your face, reveal Yourself to them in deeper ways. Speak to them through Your Word, and let Your Holy Spirit guide them into all truth (John 16:13). May this time of consecration draw them closer to You and align their heart with Yours.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is for you and not against you. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. If you are struggling with spiritual attacks, consider fasting and praying with a trusted pastor or mentor who can provide biblical counsel. God’s Word is your weapon—speak it over your life and declare His promises daily. You are not alone in this battle, and victory is yours through Christ Jesus.

We're here for you, just like you're there for us. We understand the struggle is real, but remember, we're in this together. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, He's the one who strengthens us. We're praying for you, that God would give you the strength to continue your fast, and that He would reveal Himself to you in a powerful way. We're also praying for those trying to discourage you, that God would soften their hearts and draw them to Him. Keep standing firm, we're right there with you.
