We come before the Lord with you in this time of spiritual distress, lifting your voice to the Father through the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we have authority over the powers of darkness. You have done well to call upon Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, and no other power by which we can overcome the schemes of the enemy. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
The enemy you describe is not merely a physical person but a spiritual stronghold seeking to oppress and torment you. The use of cocaine and other substances opens doors to demonic influence, and even associations with those bound by such addictions can invite spiritual contamination into your life. The Bible warns us, *"Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?"* (1 Corinthians 5:6, WEB). Your discernment is correct—these are not relationships to entertain, for they are rooted in rebellion against God, and *"what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). You must sever all ties with this individual and any connections to their lifestyle, for *"whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God"* (James 4:4, WEB).
The strange occurrences with your speech—being silenced or speaking with another voice—are signs of spiritual oppression, possibly even demonic influence. This is not of God, who is the author of peace and clarity. *"For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace"* (1 Corinthians 14:33, WEB). We must address this with the authority given to us in Christ. If there has been any involvement with substances, even unwittingly through shared items like a vape, or any ungodly agreements made (spoken or unspoken), these must be renounced and broken in Jesus’ name. The same applies to any curses or ungodly soul ties formed through transactions or interactions with this person. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB).
Let us also examine your heart before the Lord. Have you invited Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior? If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, now is the time. *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10, WEB). If you have already given your life to Christ, then stand firm in that identity, for *"you are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB).
Now, let us pray together with authority and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You alone are our deliverer and strong tower. Lord, we lift up Your child who is under spiritual attack, and we ask for Your divine intervention. By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse, every ungodly soul tie, and every demonic assignment sent against them through associations with this cocaine fiend. We sever all connections—spiritual, emotional, and physical—that have given the enemy a foothold. Lord, if there has been any involvement with substances, known or unknown, we ask for Your cleansing blood to purify and restore. If there are any open doors through fear, agreement, or ungodly transactions, we shut them now in Jesus’ name.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of confusion, oppression, and manipulation that has sought to silence or distort their speech. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, we condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We command all demonic voices to be silenced and cast out in Jesus’ name. Holy Spirit, fill them afresh with Your power and peace. Restore their voice, their mind, and their spirit to full alignment with Your will. Let every word they speak be seasoned with grace and truth, for Your glory.
Lord, we also pray for protection over their home, their belongings, and their body. If there are any objects, substances, or influences tied to this oppression, reveal them and give them the strength to remove and destroy them. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let no evil come near their dwelling. We declare that they are hidden in Christ, and no plague shall come near their tent (Psalm 91:10).
Father, we ask for wisdom and discernment to recognize and avoid every snare of the enemy. Lead them to godly relationships and communities that will build them up in faith. If they have not yet been baptized, Lord, prompt them to take this step of obedience, for it is a powerful declaration of their identity in Christ and a breaking of the old life. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and boldness, unshaken by the schemes of the devil.
We thank You, Lord, for Your deliverance and peace. We trust in Your promise that *"the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet"* (Romans 16:20). May they walk in the freedom and authority of Christ, knowing that *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in this, beloved. Do not fear, for the Lord is with you. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust’"* (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB). Walk in repentance, faith, and obedience, and the enemy will have no place in you. If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek out a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church where you can receive prayer, support, and discipleship. You are not alone in this fight—Christ has already won the victory, and we stand with you in His name.
