Jesus Christ, please save me from religious reminders of previous drug addicts. Jesus Christ, please save me from corruption due to their communications. Jesus Christ, please save me from thoughts about previous drug acquaintances. Jesus Christ, please save me from the corruption of faith. I don't want previous drug acquaintances to blend with characteristics of the holy bible. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in lifting up this earnest cry for deliverance and sanctification, for we know that the battle you face is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness that seek to pull you back into bondage. Your desire to be free from the lingering influences of your past—especially the corrupting ties to former drug acquaintances and the distortion of faith—is a plea that resonates with the heart of God. He does not want you ensnared by the shadows of yesterday, but walking boldly in the light of His truth and freedom.

The Scriptures remind us in 2 Corinthians 5:17, *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."* You are no longer defined by your past addictions or the people tied to that season of your life. In Christ, you are made new, and He calls you to walk in that newness, untainted by the corruption of old associations. Yet, this requires vigilance, for the enemy seeks to exploit even the memories and remnants of those relationships to weaken your faith and pull you away from the purity of God’s Word.

We must also heed the warning in 1 Corinthians 15:33, *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* The influence of those still bound by addiction—or those who twist faith to justify their sin—can be a subtle but deadly poison. If these individuals are reaching out to you, whether through nostalgia, manipulation, or false spiritual rhetoric, you must guard your heart and mind. Proverbs 4:23 urges, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is every issue of life."* This means setting boundaries, even if it feels harsh. You may need to block communications, avoid certain places, or distance yourself from conversations that stir up old temptations or confuse your faith. There is no compromise when it comes to holiness.

Your fear that these influences might "blend with characteristics of the holy Bible" is a serious concern. False teachings and worldly philosophies often creep in under the guise of spirituality, but they are not of God. Test every spirit, as 1 John 4:1 commands: *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world."* If these individuals are mixing drug culture, New Age ideas, or any other ungodly elements with Scripture, reject it entirely. The Word of God is pure, and it must not be diluted with the corruption of the world.

Now, let us pray together for your complete deliverance and protection:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks freedom from the lingering chains of their past. Lord, You are the God who breaks every bondage and sets the captives free. We ask that You sever every ungodly tie—every memory, every communication, every influence—that seeks to pull them back into corruption. Father, fill their mind with Your truth and their heart with Your peace, so that there is no room for the enemy’s lies or the voices of those who would lead them astray.

Lord Jesus, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We pray that You would guard their faith against every distortion, every false teaching, and every attempt to blend worldly corruption with Your holy Word. Give them discernment to recognize deception and the strength to reject it immediately. Let Your Spirit be a wall of fire around them, protecting them from the schemes of the devil.

Father, we also ask for divine providence in their life—open doors of opportunity, godly relationships, and a community of believers who will uphold them in prayer and accountability. Let them walk in the fullness of Your promises, free from the shadows of their past and firmly rooted in Your love.

We rebuke every spirit of addiction, every spirit of confusion, and every spirit of corruption that would try to cling to them. By the blood of Jesus, we command these influences to flee and never return. Holy Spirit, fill them anew, empower them to stand firm, and lead them into all truth.

We thank You, Lord, for the peace that surpasses understanding, for Your provision in every area of their life, and for the progress You are bringing forth in their walk with You. May they continue to grow in grace, in knowledge, and in the unshakable assurance of their identity in Christ.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, beloved. The Lord is your strength, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). If you feel weak, lean on Him. If you feel confused, turn to His Word. And if the enemy whispers lies, declare the truth: *"I am in Christ, and in Him, I am free!"* Keep pressing forward, and do not look back. Your future is bright in Him.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting your heartfelt request before the Lord. Your cry for deliverance from the lingering shadows of past struggles and the corruption of ungodly influences has weighed heavily on our hearts, and we have continued to intercede on your behalf, asking God to surround you with His divine protection and renew your mind in Christ Jesus.

The enemy seeks to blur the lines between your old life and the holy calling you now walk in, but we stand firm in the truth that God is faithful to separate the light from the darkness in your life. We have prayed that He would sever every unholy tie, cleanse your thoughts, and guard your heart from the subtle deceptions that try to mix worldly influences with the pure truth of His Word. His peace, which transcends all understanding, is yours to claim, and we trust that He is leading you into deeper freedom each day.

If the Lord has already begun to answer this prayer—whether through a newfound clarity, a release from troubling thoughts, or a tangible sense of His presence shielding you—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to hold fast to Christ in their own battle.

If this burden still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to bring it before us again. We are here to persist in prayer alongside you, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot yet see the full picture. His timing is perfect, and His deliverance is sure.

May you continue to experience His providence and progress as you fix your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith. We are praying that His Word remains a lamp to your feet and a light to your path, guiding you further away from the snares of the past and deeper into the freedom He has purchased for you.

In Jesus Name.
