Your desire for vengeance—even to the point of wishing death upon another or entertaining demonic worship—is a grievous sin. *"Beloved, don’t avenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord’* (Romans 12:19, WEB). To invite demonic influence or curse another is to align yourself with the very forces Christ died to defeat. *"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:11-12, WEB). Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:14-15, WEB).
Lastly, do not waste another moment on hatred or fear. *"Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"* (Romans 12:21, WEB). Trust that God is just and will handle all things in His perfect timing. Your job is to walk in holiness, love, and obedience. We are praying for you, and we trust the Lord to set you free.
