Jesus Christ, I wonder if the heavens are the genetic pedigree children that can be produced. Another thought is that people who choose to breed with shorter or taller people to increase the average height. Jesus Christ, please help me fast during this Daniel Fast. I have some depressing and jealous thoughts that may go away after my new medication is given to me. I was rather sad about exercising during the Daniel Fast and had other envious thoughts of not being strong enough. Jesus, please heal, strengthen, and save people from shin splints. I hope Jesus helps with exercise, study, coping, routine, socializing, motivation, and consistency. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We come before the Lord with grateful hearts that you have sought Him in your thoughts, struggles, and even your curiosities, for He cares deeply about every detail of your life. Your mention of Jesus Christ by name is a testament to your faith, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged Him as your Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).

First, let us address the questions you’ve raised about genetics and human breeding. While it is natural to ponder the mysteries of creation, we must be cautious not to fixate on ideas that could lead to pride or the dangerous belief that humanity can—or should—control or manipulate God’s design for life. The Bible warns us against leaning on our own understanding rather than trusting in the Lord (Proverbs 3:5-6). Our bodies and even our stature are gifts from God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Instead of focusing on altering what God has ordained, we encourage you to seek His wisdom in how you can steward the body and mind He has given you for His glory. *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB).

Your commitment to the Daniel Fast is commendable, as fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that draws us closer to God. It is a time to deny the flesh and seek the Lord with humility and repentance. If you are struggling with discouragement or jealousy during this time, we urge you to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). These feelings may stem from comparing yourself to others, which is a trap the enemy uses to steal your joy and focus. Remember, *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble"* (James 4:6, WEB). Your worth is not found in your physical strength, height, or performance but in Christ alone. He has called you to run your race with endurance, looking to Him as the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:1-2).

We also note your mention of medication for depressive and jealous thoughts. While we believe in the power of prayer and God’s healing, we also recognize that He can use medicine as a tool for restoration. However, we encourage you not to place your ultimate hope in medication but in the Lord, who is your healer and sustainer. *"The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him"* (Psalm 28:7, WEB). If these thoughts persist, we urge you to seek godly counsel and surround yourself with believers who can encourage you in the faith.

As for your prayer for healing from shin splints and strength in exercise, we lift this up to the Lord, asking that He would grant you physical restoration and the discipline to steward your body well. Exercise is a good and godly pursuit when done for the right reasons—honoring God with your temple and maintaining the strength to serve Him. But let your motivation come from a heart that seeks to glorify Him, not from envy or comparison. *"Don’t you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, that you may win. Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible"* (1 Corinthians 9:24-25, WEB).

Finally, we want to address the broader themes in your request: the longing for peace, providence, and progress. These are beautiful desires that align with God’s will for your life. But true peace is not found in circumstances or achievements—it is found in Christ. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Providence is the Lord’s faithful hand guiding your steps, and progress is the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit in you as you abide in Him.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before Your throne of grace, asking that You would meet him in every area of his need. Lord, we thank You that he has called upon the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved. We pray that You would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, casting down every jealous and depressive thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of You. Replace these struggles with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding.

Father, we ask for Your strength and healing during this Daniel Fast. Grant him the discipline to seek You above all else and the physical stamina to exercise in a way that honors You. Heal his body from shin splints and any other infirmity, and remind him that his body is Your temple. Help him to run his race with endurance, fixing his eyes on Jesus.

Lord, we pray for his studies, his routines, and his social interactions. Give him the motivation and consistency to walk in obedience to You. Surround him with godly community that will encourage him in faith and love. If medication is part of Your plan for his restoration, let it be used for Your glory, but let him never forget that You alone are his healer and sustainer.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of comparison, envy, or discouragement in Jesus’ name. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the fruit of joy, peace, and self-control. Let him find his identity and worth in You alone, not in his physical abilities or the opinions of others.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done in his life, and may he grow ever closer to You in faith and obedience. Amen.

We're with you, brother, every step of the way. We know the Daniel Fast isn't easy, but remember, it's not just about the food, it's about drawing closer to God. We're here to encourage you and pray with you.

First, let's address your curiosity about genetics and breeding. While it's fascinating to ponder, let's not forget that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14). Instead of trying to control or manipulate God's design, let's focus on stewarding the bodies He's given us for His glory (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

Now, about your fast. It's commendable that you're seeking God in this way. If you're feeling down or envious, remember, your worth isn't found in your physical strength or performance, but in Christ alone (Hebrews 12:1-2). Trust in Him, and He'll give you the grace you need (James 4:6).

We're praying for your healing and strength, not just physically, but also in your thoughts and emotions. May God fill you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). And remember, it's okay to ask for help. There's no shame in seeking godly counsel or medication if needed.

Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He's got this, brother. We're in this together. Let's keep praying and keep trusting.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We’ve been praying earnestly for the Lord to bring you peace in the midst of this Daniel Fast, asking Him to quiet the depressive and jealous thoughts that have weighed on you. We’ve also been seeking His comfort and strength as you wait for your new medication, trusting that He will use it to bring healing and clarity to your mind. May He replace every burden with His perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding.

We know that physical challenges like shin splints and the fatigue of exercise can feel overwhelming, especially when combined with the spiritual discipline of fasting. But we’ve been praying that Jesus would renew your strength—not just in body, but in spirit—so that you might find joy in movement and perseverance in your routine. May He grant you the motivation and consistency you’ve asked for, turning every step of exercise into an act of worship and every moment of study into an opportunity to draw closer to Him.
