Jesus Christ, please save me from religious revenge from family that have wronged the prayer. The church would often mention praying for backsliders. My grandma is using religious magics to attack me for my previous wrongs. Instead of forgiving the backsliders, they are using any confessed sin from the past to cause me to suffer in the present. An example is stealing yu gi oh cards at summer school in elementary to middle school; the religious magic oppression is them causing me to look for a missing object, or causing me to wander, or causing me to forget, or wasting my time in the reenactment of looking for something. I hope Jesus saves me from this religious revenge and destroys the people responsible for the oppression. This is my genuine and truthful answer for religious oppression because there is no proof of religious oppression and that it may have caused my family multiple errors and the failure to improve. I hope my grandma disappears soon. I don't really believe that I can forgive someone that is trying to fill up their 70 x 7 sins against a person. We come before the throne of grace with you in this heavy burden, lifting your heart’s cry to our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is our refuge and deliverer. The pain you describe is deep, and the spiritual oppression you feel is real, yet we must anchor ourselves in the truth of Scripture to navigate this battle. You have done well to call upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we find salvation, protection, and victory over the enemy’s schemes.

First, let us address the spiritual warfare you are experiencing. The Bible makes it clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). While your grandmother’s actions may feel like personal attacks, the root is a spiritual battle that requires spiritual weapons. The Lord rebukes any form of witchcraft, divination, or religious manipulation, for these are detestable to Him (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). If there is indeed spiritual oppression at work, we must resist it with the authority of Christ, putting on the whole armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). You are not powerless, for "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

Yet we must also speak truth into the bitterness and unforgiveness in your heart. You mentioned struggling to forgive those who have wronged you, even referencing the "70 x 7" teaching of Jesus on forgiveness (Matthew 18:21-22). Forgiveness is not optional for the believer; it is a commandment tied to our own forgiveness from the Father. Jesus said, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"* (Matthew 6:14-15). Unforgiveness is a chain that binds *us*, not the offender. It gives the enemy a foothold in our lives (Ephesians 4:26-27) and hinders our prayers (Mark 11:25). We urge you to release this burden to the Lord, for He alone is the just Judge. Vengeance belongs to Him (Romans 12:19), and He will repay. Your call for your grandmother to "disappear" or for God to "destroy" those responsible reveals a heart that is understandably wounded but also in danger of being consumed by bitterness. Instead, pray as Jesus did even on the cross: *"Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing"* (Luke 23:34).

As for the past sins you confessed—such as the theft in your youth—remember that *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). If you have repented, those sins are *gone*, cast as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12). The enemy may try to dredge up old guilt, but in Christ, you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Do not let condemnation rule over you, for *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1). If your family is using your past against you, it is not of God. His forgiveness is complete, and His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Now, let us pray together for your deliverance, healing, and restoration:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding for our brother who is under spiritual attack. Lord, You see the hidden things, the works of darkness, and the schemes of the enemy. We ask You to expose and dismantle every form of witchcraft, religious manipulation, or oppression being waged against him. Break every curse, every spell, and every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ name. Let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we also lift up the wounds in his heart—the bitterness, the anger, the desire for vengeance. Lord, You know the pain he carries, and we ask You to heal him. Soften his heart toward forgiveness, not for the sake of those who wronged him, but for his own freedom. Help him to release this burden to You, the righteous Judge. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and guard his mind from the enemy’s lies.

We pray for his grandmother and family. Lord, if they are involved in darkness, convict their hearts and draw them to repentance. If they are being deceived, open their eyes to the truth. But we also ask You to protect our brother from their influence. Set a guard over his mind, his home, and his future. Let Your light shine so brightly in his life that no darkness can remain.

Finally, Lord, we ask for Your providence and progress in his life. Restore what the enemy has stolen—his time, his peace, his focus. Lead him into Your perfect will, and let him walk in the victory You have already won on the cross. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37) and that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against him.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your justice, Your mercy, and Your power. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily, for it is your sword in this battle. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. If you haven’t already, consider fasting and prayer to break spiritual strongholds (Matthew 17:21). And remember: the Lord is your defender. You do not need to fight this battle in your own strength. Trust in Him, and He will act (Psalm 37:5-6).

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift you up in prayer during this deeply painful season of spiritual attack and family betrayal. The weight of carrying both the guilt of past sins and the torment of what feels like relentless spiritual oppression is more than any believer should bear alone, and we are honored that you trusted us to stand in the gap with you before the throne of grace. Your raw honesty about the struggles with forgiveness, the sense of being trapped in cycles of condemnation, and the cry for deliverance from what you describe as religious revenge has moved us to continue pleading for your freedom in Christ.

We have been praying earnestly that the Lord would break every ungodly tie that seeks to bind you to past transgressions—especially those confessed and covered by the blood of Jesus. The enemy loves to twist our confessions into weapons of shame, but we declare that *there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus* (Romans 8:1). If the distractions, the compulsive searching, the mental fog, or the sense of wasted time are manifestations of spiritual oppression, we ask the Holy Spirit to expose and sever every root of it. We’ve prayed specifically against any form of occult or religious manipulation tied to your family line, binding the hands of those who would use prayer or "magic" as a tool of harm rather than healing. The Lord sees the malice in their hearts, and we trust Him to render their schemes powerless while extending mercy to them—even when forgiveness feels impossible for you right now.

We also lift up your heart before the Father, asking Him to replace the bitterness and exhaustion with His supernatural peace. It’s clear this battle has left you weary, even questioning whether relief will come. But we serve a God who *restores the years the locusts have eaten* (Joel 2:25) and who turns curses into blessings for His children (Deuteronomy 23:5). If you’ve sensed even a glimmer of progress—whether in moments of clarity, a lessening of the oppression, or a newfound ability to resist the cycles of torment—we’d love for you to share a praise report. Let us rejoice with you over every victory, no matter how small.

If, however, the spiritual weight still feels crushing, we urge you to post an update so we can continue contending for you. You are not abandoned in this. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are committed to walking with you until breakthrough comes. We also gently encourage you to seek godly counsel—whether from a pastor, a mature believer, or a biblical counselor—who can help you navigate both the spiritual and emotional layers of this trial. Sometimes, the Lord uses His people to speak life and truth into the darkest places.

Lastly, we pray that the Lord would guard your heart against the lie that you are beyond His redemption or that His justice will not prevail. He is the righteous Judge, and He will repay (Romans 12:19). Your job is to surrender the vengeance, the pain, and even your grandmother into His hands. That doesn’t mean the desire for her to "disappear" is sin—it means your soul is crying out for safety, and He hears you. But we pray He would replace that cry with a supernatural ability to release her to His judgment, trusting that He will deal with her far more justly than we ever could.

We are still here, still praying, and still believing for your complete deliverance. Do not lose heart. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He will not leave you in this pit. Keep seeking Him, even in the mess of it all.
