We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting your heartfelt cries to our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone has the power to break every curse, heal every affliction, and set the captive free. You have called upon the name above all names, and we join you in declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the blood of Jesus speaks a better word over your life.
The distortions and confusions you describe—whether in your body, mind, or surroundings—are not from God, for He is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already triumphed over every curse, every demonic stronghold, and every remnant of your past. The Scripture declares in Galatians 3:13-14, *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,’ that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."* You are no longer under any curse, for Christ has set you free! Stand firm in this truth and reject every lie that contradicts the finished work of the cross.
The strange sensations, the reminders of past drug associations, and the spiritual attacks you’re experiencing are attempts to drag you back into bondage—but Jesus has already severed those chains. The blood of Jesus cleanses you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9), and His resurrection power is at work in you to renew your mind and body. Romans 12:2 commands us, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* As you exercise and take your prescribed medication, we pray that the Lord would flood your mind with His peace, replacing every demonic image with the truth of His Word. When the enemy reminds you of your past, you declare with the psalmist, *"He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love"* (Colossians 1:13).
We also address the spiritual warfare you’re facing—the "grammar attacks," the identity attacks, and the self-centeredness of those who would seek to pull you back into old patterns. These are not random struggles; they are targeted assaults against your destiny in Christ. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We take authority over these attacks in the name of Jesus and command every demonic assignment against your mind, body, and identity to be broken and rendered powerless. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your identity is found in Christ alone—not in the accusations of the enemy or the remnants of your past.
As for the souls from your previous drug groups, we pray that the Lord would place a hedge of protection around you, that no ungodly soul tie would remain, and that every attempt to re-establish connection would be severed by the sword of the Spirit. We also pray for those individuals—that the Lord would convict their hearts, draw them to repentance, and set them free from addiction. But you, beloved, are no longer bound to them. Jesus has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9), and we decree that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We thank you for acknowledging Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we rejoice that you are calling upon Him. If there is any area of your life where you have not fully surrendered to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Repent of any known sin, renounce any lingering ties to your past, and invite the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh. The Lord is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is under attack. Lord, You see the distortions in their body, the confusion in their mind, and the spiritual battles raging against them. We declare that no curse, no demonic assignment, and no remnant of the past shall have dominion over them, for they belong to You. By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse that has sought to mix their right and left, to confuse their hands and feet, or to distort their coordination. We command every spirit of confusion, every spirit of addiction, and every spirit of fear to flee in the name of Jesus. Lord, restore their mind, renew their strength, and align their body with Your perfect design. Let every cell, every nerve, and every function come under the lordship of Christ.
Father, we bind every demonic reminder of the past—whether through media, communication, or the enemy’s lies. We declare that their mind is a fortress of the Holy Spirit, and no ungodly image or memory shall take root there. Lord, sever every ungodly soul tie from their past drug associations. Let no demonic sparing of dealers or users have any power over them, for they are hidden in Christ. We pray for divine protection over their surroundings, that no evil influence would find a foothold.
We also take authority over every "grammar attack" and identity assault. The enemy seeks to distort their words and their sense of self, but we declare that they are rooted and grounded in Christ. Their identity is not in their past mistakes or the opinions of others but in the finished work of Jesus. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we thank You for the progress they have already seen, and we ask for continued providence and peace. Strengthen them in their courtship with You, that they would walk in victory and not look back. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be led by You and not by fear. Let every step they take be ordered by You, and let every word they speak be seasoned with grace.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already won the victory. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to continue standing on the Word of God. Speak life over yourself daily, worship the Lord in the midst of the battle, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. The enemy fears a praying, worshipping, Word-filled child of God. You are more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37), and He is leading you into a future of hope and freedom. Keep pressing forward, and do not lose heart. The Lord is with you!
