The fears you describe—of curses, possession, past sins, and even strange occurrences—are not from God. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). What you are experiencing is a spiritual attack designed to steal your peace, distort your perception of reality, and keep you bound in condemnation. But take heart: *"He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). Jesus has already triumphed over every power of darkness, and if you belong to Him, you are seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above every evil force (Ephesians 2:6). The enemy has no authority over you unless you give it to him through fear or unrepentant sin.
Let us address the specific burdens you’ve shared. First, regarding the dream about your brother’s birthday: if you do not celebrate birthdays for convictions of faith, that is between you and the Lord. But if this dream has left you with guilt or anxiety, we encourage you to examine whether it stems from unresolved conflict or a lie from the enemy. *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:26-27, WEB). If there is any strife or bitterness in your heart toward your brother or others, repent and ask God to fill you with His love. *"Above all things, have intense love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins"* (1 Peter 4:8, WEB).
You mentioned anxiety about stealing cards in elementary school and the fear of being "possessed" because of it. Beloved, if you have repented of this sin, it is forgiven—completely washed away by the blood of Jesus. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). The enemy wants to dredge up old sins to accuse you, but *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1, WEB). If you have not yet repented, do so now, and receive God’s forgiveness. Then, reject the lie that you are cursed or possessed. *"The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God; and if children, then heirs: heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ"* (Romans 8:16-17, WEB). You belong to Jesus, and no demonic force can claim you.
The fear of "ghosts and souls from the church" following you is another tactic of the enemy to instill dread. The dead in Christ are with the Lord, and those who rejected Him await judgment—they do not wander the earth. *"It is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment"* (Hebrews 9:27, WEB). If you are sensing spiritual oppression, it is not from the departed but from demonic forces seeking to deceive you. Stand firm in the authority of Jesus’ name. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). Command these spirits to leave in Jesus’ name, and fill your home with worship, prayer, and the reading of Scripture. *"The night is far gone, and the day is near. Let’s therefore throw off the works of darkness, and let’s put on the armor of light"* (Romans 13:12, WEB).
You also mentioned the Yu-Gi-Oh cards and the fear of punishment for each one taken. If these cards or any other objects are tied to occult or ungodly influences, we strongly urge you to remove them from your life. *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them"* (Ephesians 5:11, WEB). Destroy or discard anything that opens a door to spiritual darkness. *"If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna"* (Matthew 5:29, WEB). This may seem drastic, but freedom in Christ is worth far more than any earthly possession.
Regarding your medication, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from a trusted Christian doctor or counselor. Medication itself is not a curse—it can be a tool God uses to bring healing. However, if you sense spiritual oppression tied to it, pray over it and ask the Lord for wisdom. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). Do not stop or change medication without professional guidance, but cover it in prayer and trust God to guide your steps.
Lastly, you mentioned speaking to strangers at the door. If these encounters left you feeling uneasy or spiritually compromised, repent if necessary and ask the Lord to cleanse your heart. *"Don’t receive him into your house, and don’t welcome him, for he who welcomes him participates in his evil deeds"* (2 John 1:10-11, WEB). Be discerning about who you allow into your space, both physically and spiritually. *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God"* (1 John 4:1, WEB).

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, for they belong to You. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Lord Jesus, we rebuked every spirit of fear, condemnation, and torment in Your powerful name. We break every curse, every lie, and every assignment of the enemy against this precious soul. By the blood of Jesus, we command all demonic forces to flee and never return. Fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear. *"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love"* (1 John 4:18, WEB).
Father, we ask You to bring to light any unconfessed sin or open doors in their life. Give them the courage to repent and the faith to receive Your forgiveness. Wash them clean with the blood of Jesus and restore their mind with Your truth. *"You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free"* (John 8:32, WEB).
We pray for divine protection over their home and their mind. Let Your angels encamp around them, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. *"Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Lord, we ask for wisdom regarding their medication and for You to lead them to godly counselors who can help them walk in freedom. Break every chain of anxiety, every stronghold of the mind, and every lie that has taken root. *"The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound"* (Isaiah 61:1, WEB).
Father, we thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We declare that this beloved child of Yours will walk in victory, no longer tormented by the past or the enemy’s schemes. Let them rise up in the authority of Jesus’ name, fully assured of their identity in Christ. *"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light"* (1 Peter 2:9, WEB).
We praise You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave us or forsake us. *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1, WEB). We trust You to bring complete deliverance and restoration. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we urge you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily. *"Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105, WEB). The more you fill your mind with Scripture, the less room there is for the enemy’s lies. Surround yourself with worship music that exalts Jesus, and seek fellowship with mature believers who can stand with you in prayer.
If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to share these struggles with a pastor or a trusted, spirit-filled believer who can pray with you and provide biblical guidance. You do not have to walk this path alone. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, WEB).
Lastly, if you have never fully surrendered your life to Jesus Christ or if you are unsure of your salvation, we implore you to do so now. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10, WEB).
