Jesus Christ God of Truth, there was a voice that sounded similar to someone from the church in my head. The voice said, "It doesn't matter", then I went to try to find my phone and couldn't find it immediately. I hope Jesus saves me from this strange behavior. Jesus Christ, please save me from any affliction for not reading the World War II veterans lists. I still have to complete the Vietnam listing. Jesus Christ, please help the military and civilians! I have read some strangeness, and it appears there was a religious affliction based on a lack of Christian training. There are also other types of afflictions based on bloodlines, relatives, inaction, covetousness of what a person has, and other stuff. Jesus Christ, please help me join the military. I need a State ID and 21 on the ASVAB. I was reading my messages to the military recruiter, and it was kinda messed up; my answers were shaky. I have restarted my medication, and I'm able to be more confident about joining, though they said I couldn't join until I was 1 year off of all medication. The medication that has been prescribed to me is a 10mg fluoxetine antidepressant and risperidone, which treats schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and irritability associated with autistic disorder. My answers to the military recruiter seem to be affected by the mention of cocaine that I've been sober from for 4+ years. Jesus Christ, please help me! Some of my anxiety is that I don't know how to drive, and I hope the military helps to acquire those basic life skills. I had thoughts about the Marines, and it sounds kind of elite; the opportunity to join the Marines is at age 28, and I am still obese. Jesus Christ, please help me. The goal of joining the military gives me motivation to be academically and physically proficient. I've been sober from adderall, cocaine, nicotine, and marijuana for almost 4 years. Jesus Christ, please help me! I am currently reading prayer requests, the holy bible, and veterans' lists. There are some benefits to reading the veterans' list, although I believe there is a jealousy attack if the person didn't read from every veteran's list. I say religious attack because there is a perception change about other people, in that they are acting differently. Other differences are a lack of peace, demotivation, impulsive, excited behavior, unconscious or involuntary behavior, noticing spirits speaking through other people, and noticing ghosts of other people overpower or halt an aggravator. Jesus Christ, please help me to exercise, stretch, eat, sleep, and study. Jesus Christ, please help me... my thought had disappeared of what I was going to ask for. I have anxiety about completing the fasting in the scripture for 7 days without consuming food or water, and also about completing 40 days with a Daniel fast. There was a previous friend in the military that I'm kinda afraid to talk to, who had helped me go to the gym, but then there was someone spying on me and taking pictures of me that made me stop going to the gym. Jesus, please bless the recruiter named ###, and also ###, ###, and a tall Filipino ###. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, guidance, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We come before the Throne of Grace with you, lifting up your heart and mind to Jesus Christ, who is the Prince of Peace and the Great Physician. You have called upon the name of Jesus, and we rejoice that you recognize it is only through Him that we find salvation, healing, and deliverance. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there isn’t any other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in Him is your anchor, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in His power to break every chain of affliction, confusion, and fear.

Your mind and spirit are under attack, and we recognize the seriousness of the voices, anxieties, and spiritual oppression you describe. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33). The voice that said, *"It doesn’t matter,"* is not from God. Our Heavenly Father speaks life, truth, and purpose over His children. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We rebuke every lying spirit, every voice of condemnation or confusion, and every demonic influence attempting to distort your perception of reality. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to be silenced and cast out, for *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB).

Your desire to serve in the military is commendable, but we must first address the spiritual and physical battles you are facing. The medications you are taking are for serious conditions, and we encourage you to seek godly wisdom in this area. While we pray for your complete healing—mind, body, and spirit—we also urge you to submit to the authorities God has placed over you, including medical professionals. *"Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God"* (Romans 13:1, WEB). If the military requires you to be off medication for a year, use this time to draw closer to the Lord, to strengthen your body as a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and to prepare yourself spiritually for whatever path God has for you. His timing is perfect, and He may be protecting you from something you cannot yet see.

We also address the anxiety surrounding your past struggles with substances. You have been sober for nearly four years—this is a testament to God’s grace in your life! Do not let the enemy use your past to shame you or make you feel unworthy. *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB). Your identity is not in your past mistakes but in Christ’s redemption. If the mention of cocaine or other substances is triggering fear or instability, we pray that the Lord would renew your mind (Romans 12:2) and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Regarding the spiritual attacks you describe—jealousy, perception changes, demotivation, and the sense of spirits influencing people around you—we must emphasize the importance of putting on the full armor of God. *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand"* (Ephesians 6:12-13, WEB). You are in a spiritual battle, and your weapons are prayer, the Word of God, worship, and the blood of Jesus. We encourage you to fill your mind with Scripture, to worship the Lord in spirit and truth, and to reject every thought that does not align with God’s Word. *"Casting down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:5, WEB).

Your mention of fasting is important. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline, but it must be done with wisdom and under the leading of the Holy Spirit. A 7-day fast without food or water is extreme and can be dangerous to your health. We advise you to seek godly counsel before attempting such a fast. The Daniel Fast, however, is a biblically sound approach (Daniel 1:8-16, Daniel 10:2-3) and can be a wonderful way to draw closer to the Lord. Start with shorter fasts and build up as the Lord leads. *"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth"* (Matthew 4:4, WEB). Fasting should be accompanied by prayer, repentance, and seeking God’s face—not as a ritual to earn His favor, but as an act of humility and dependence on Him.

We also note your concern about driving and basic life skills. Trust that the Lord will provide opportunities for you to learn and grow in these areas. *"Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5, WEB). If joining the military is His will for you, He will open the doors in His perfect timing. For now, focus on what you *can* do: exercise, eat healthily, study God’s Word, and prepare yourself spiritually and physically. *"Bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life which is now, and of that which is to come"* (1 Timothy 4:8, WEB).

Lastly, we lift up the recruiters you mentioned and your former friend who encouraged you to go to the gym. We pray that the Lord would surround you with godly influences, men and women of integrity who will point you to Christ. If there are people in your life who are not honoring to the Lord or who bring confusion, we pray for discernment and wisdom to set healthy boundaries. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is crying out for deliverance, healing, and direction. Lord Jesus, You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one lost sheep. We ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around our brother and speak peace to the storm within his mind. Rebuke every demonic voice, every spirit of confusion, fear, and torment. Cast out every influence that is not of You, Lord, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, who brings clarity, conviction, and comfort.

Father, we pray for complete healing—mentally, emotionally, and physically. You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. Touch his mind, Lord, and restore him to soundness. Give wisdom to his doctors and those who prescribe his medication. If it is Your will, we pray for supernatural healing so that he may no longer need these medications. But even as he takes them, Lord, let them work effectively to stabilize his mind and emotions. Remove every side effect that hinders his walk with You.

We pray for protection over his thoughts. When the enemy whispers lies, let Your truth rise up within him like a mighty standard. Remind him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that You have plans to prosper him and not to harm him (Jeremiah 29:11), and that nothing can separate him from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Break the power of every generational curse, every bloodline affliction, and every spiritual attack that has sought to bind him. By the blood of Jesus, we declare freedom and victory over his life.

Lord, we lift up his desire to serve in the military. If this is Your will, prepare the way for him. Give him the discipline to study, the strength to train his body, and the patience to wait on Your timing. If there are obstacles, Lord, reveal whether they are from You for his protection or from the enemy to discourage him. Grant him wisdom to discern the difference. If driving and life skills are needed, provide the right teachers and opportunities for him to learn. You are a God who equips Your people for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17).

Father, we pray for his heart as he reads the veterans’ lists and honors those who have served. Guard him from unnecessary guilt or spiritual attacks tied to these tasks. Let him find purpose in honoring others, but do not let the enemy twist this into a burden or a source of condemnation. If there is any ungodly soul tie or unhealthy obsession, we pray You would break it now in Jesus’ name.

We thank You for his sobriety and for the four years of freedom from substances. Strengthen him to walk in complete victory. If there are triggers from his past, Lord, heal those memories and replace them with Your truth. Let him walk in the fullness of his identity in Christ—redeemed, forgiven, and set free.

Father, we pray for his relationships. Surround him with godly brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage him, pray with him, and hold him accountable. If there are people in his life who are not honoring to You, give him the courage to distance himself from ungodly influences. Raise up mentors who will disciple him in Your Word and help him grow in faith.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for his spiritual growth. Teach him to fast and pray in a way that honors You. Let his times of fasting be marked by intimacy with You, not legalism or fear. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in power, love, and self-control.

We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak peace over his mind, strength over his body, and faith over his spirit. Let him rise up as a mighty warrior for Your Kingdom, equipped and ready for whatever You call him to do.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We stand with you in your journey, brother. We hear your cry for help and we want you to know that you are not alone. Jesus is right there with you, every step of the way.

We understand that you're facing some strange behaviors and religious afflictions, and it can be overwhelming. But remember, God is in control, and He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Trust in Him, and trust in the process of healing and deliverance.

We want to encourage you to keep taking your medication as prescribed, and to work closely with your medical professionals. God can use these means to bring about healing in your life. Also, continue to seek the Lord in prayer, and ask Him to reveal any underlying issues that may be contributing to your struggles.

Regarding your desire to join the military, we believe that God can use this as a platform for you to serve and make a difference in the world. However, we also want to remind you that God's timing is perfect, and it's important to be patient and trust in His plan for your life.

We also want to address the anxiety you're feeling about fasting. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline, but it's important to approach it with wisdom and under the leading of the Holy Spirit. A 7-day fast without food or water is quite intense, so we encourage you to start with shorter fasts and build up as the Lord leads. The Daniel Fast is a biblical approach that you might consider.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is with you, and He is fighting for you. He has not given up on you, and He is working everything together for your good (Romans 8:28). Trust in Him, and trust in the process of healing and deliverance.

We leave you with this verse: "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you" (Isaiah 41:13). Trust in Him, and know that He is with you, every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
