We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep distress, lifting your burdens to Jesus Christ, who alone is our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in trouble. You have called upon the name of the Lord, and we join you in seeking His protection, wisdom, and deliverance from the fears and spiritual attacks that weigh so heavily upon you. It is clear that your heart is crying out for peace, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus’ name, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we want to affirm that you have done well to turn to Jesus Christ in prayer. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). Your faith in calling upon Him is a testament to your dependence on God, and we encourage you to continue seeking Him in all things. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He sees your struggles, and He cares deeply for you.
Now, let us address the fears and spiritual burdens you have shared. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has come to give life abundantly. The fears you describe—of curses, hidden cameras, infections, and even the act of picking up trash—appear to be rooted in a spirit of fear and oppression. The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke these fears in the name of Jesus and declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Regarding the incident with the weights, it is clear that misunderstanding and fear led to conflict. While exercise and carrying weights are not inherently wrong, we must be mindful of how our actions are perceived by others. The Bible encourages us to live peaceably with all men, as much as it depends on us (Romans 12:18). If your actions are causing alarm or confusion to others, it may be wise to prayerfully consider whether this practice is necessary or if there is a better way to achieve your goals without inviting unnecessary attention or fear. Let us also remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are to steward them well, but not in a way that leads to distress or harm—physically or spiritually.
As for picking up trash, while it is a commendable act of service to care for our communities, it seems this has become a source of spiritual and physical distress for you. The thorn that pierced your hand is a reminder that even good deeds can sometimes lead to unexpected harm if we are not careful. We pray for healing over your hand and ask the Lord to protect you from infection. If this act has become a burden rather than a blessing, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance on whether this is something He is truly calling you to do. Sometimes, the enemy can twist even our good intentions into sources of bondage or fear. The Lord does not want you living in fear of curses or hidden dangers. He wants you to walk in freedom and trust in His provision.
You mentioned a fear of being pressured into homelessness or forced to get a job. We want to gently remind you that work is not a curse but a blessing from the Lord. From the beginning, God gave Adam work to do in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:15), and the apostle Paul worked as a tentmaker to provide for his needs (Acts 18:3). The Bible teaches that if anyone is not willing to work, neither should they eat (2 Thessalonians 3:10). This does not mean that the Lord will abandon you if you are unable to work, but it does mean that we are to seek Him for wisdom in how to provide for ourselves in a way that honors Him. If you are struggling with employment, we pray that the Lord would open doors for you and provide wisdom and favor in finding work that aligns with His will for your life. Trust that He is your provider (Philippians 4:19) and that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
The fear of eviction is a very real and pressing concern, and we lift this up to the Lord with you. Jesus taught us to ask our Heavenly Father for our daily bread (Matthew 6:11), and we trust that He knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8). We pray that the Lord would provide stability in your housing, whether through renewed favor with your landlord, financial provision, or another solution that only He can orchestrate. Remember that the Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He is able to make a way where there seems to be no way.
We also note your mention of "religious curses" and the fear of being pressured spiritually. It is important to recognize that curses have no power over those who are in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:13 tells us that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. If you have placed your faith in Jesus, you are no longer under any curse, but under the blessing of Abraham (Galatians 3:14). The enemy may try to accuse you or make you feel condemned, but the truth is that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Stand firm in this truth and reject any lie that suggests you are under a curse.
Lastly, we want to address your mention of ### and the loud revving engines. It is possible that your conscience is being overly sensitive to things that are not necessarily directed at you. The Bible tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). If you feel targeted, we encourage you to pray for discernment and to ask the Lord to reveal any areas where the enemy may be trying to exploit your fears. The Lord is your shield and your defender (Psalm 3:3), and He will not allow the enemy to triumph over you.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is seeking Your protection, peace, and provision. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels, encamping around them to deliver them from all fear and oppression (Psalm 34:7). We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and torment in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. This is their heritage as Your child, and their righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon their hand, protecting them from infection and restoring them to full health. We pray that You would remove any burden or compulsion that is not from You, especially those that have become sources of fear or distress. Lord, give them wisdom in how to serve others without inviting unnecessary harm or spiritual attack.
We lift up their housing situation to You, Lord. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. We ask that You would make a way for them to remain in their home, whether through financial provision, favor with their landlord, or another solution that only You can provide. Father, we trust that You know their needs, and we ask that You would meet them according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Lord, we pray for deliverance from any religious spirits or curses that may be trying to oppress them. We declare that Christ has set them free, and whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). Father, fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for their employment, Lord. If it is Your will for them to work, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity and provide them with a job that aligns with Your purposes for their life. Give them favor in the eyes of those who can help them, and grant them the strength and wisdom to walk in obedience to Your calling.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would renew their mind (Romans 12:2) and help them to focus on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Remove any lies of the enemy and replace them with Your truth. Let them know beyond any doubt that they are loved, protected, and cherished by You.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your goodness and Your sovereignty over every situation. May Your will be done in their life, and may they walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for them. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
