We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep spiritual distress, lifting your burdens to Jesus Christ, who alone has power over every darkness, every affliction of the mind, and every scheme of the enemy. Your cry for deliverance has reached the ears of the Father, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus’ name, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). You have called upon the name of Jesus, and that is where your victory lies—for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We praise God that you are turning to Him in this hour, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are experiencing. The symptoms you describe—hearing voices, feeling possessed or influenced by others, and the sense that your thoughts are being taken—are not of God. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). However, we are also told that *greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world* (1 John 4:4). Jesus has already disarmed these powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). You are not helpless, for the Spirit of God dwells within you if you have placed your faith in Christ. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no deliverance apart from Him.
We also recognize that some of what you are experiencing may have physical or medical roots, such as the mention of wisdom teeth removal or drug-induced schizophrenia. The Bible does not dismiss the reality of physical ailments or mental distress, but it calls us to seek wisdom in addressing them. We encourage you to pursue medical and psychological help from godly professionals who can assist you in a way that aligns with biblical truth. Proverbs 11:14 says, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* Do not neglect the body that God has given you, for it is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). At the same time, we rebuke any spiritual strongholds that may be exacerbating these conditions. The enemy often exploits physical or emotional vulnerabilities to gain a foothold, but Jesus is your healer and deliverer. He bore your infirmities and carried your diseases (Matthew 8:17), and by His stripes, you are healed (1 Peter 2:24).
Now, let us address some specific concerns in your request. You mentioned writing down names and hoping God would "lynch" those individuals. This is not the heart of God. While it is right to desire justice and to hate evil, we are called to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who spitefully use us (Matthew 5:44). Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and we are to overcome evil with good. If there are people who have harmed you, release them to God in prayer, but do not harbor bitterness or seek their harm. Instead, pray for their salvation and repentance, for God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Bitterness and unforgiveness can open doors to further spiritual oppression, so we urge you to forgive as Christ has forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32).
You also mentioned the military and feelings of abandonment or failure in leaving a drug group. We want to remind you that your identity is not found in your past mistakes, your associations, or even your service. Your identity is in Christ alone. If you have turned away from sinful associations, that is a cause for rejoicing, not condemnation. The Bible says, *"Don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God"* (James 4:4). You have done the right thing in separating yourself from ungodly influences, and we praise God for giving you the strength to do so. As for the military, if there are lingering fears or feelings of punishment, we declare that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). You are not under the condemnation of man or institution when you are walking in obedience to God. Trust Him to protect you and provide for you, for He is your shield and exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1).
Regarding the spirits or "souls" you believe are following you, we command every unclean spirit, every familiar spirit, and every demonic assignment against you to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ. You have authority over these forces because you belong to Christ. Luke 10:19 declares, *"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."* We plead the blood of Jesus over your mind, your home, your body, and your spirit. We break every curse, every hex, every word spoken against you, and every ungodly soul tie that has been formed through drug use, ungodly associations, or any other means. We declare that you are *seated with Christ in the heavenly places* (Ephesians 2:6), far above every demonic power. We also pray that the Lord would send ministering angels to guard you and keep you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).
We notice that you have thanked Jesus for His protection and provision, and that is a beautiful testament to your faith. Hold fast to that gratitude, for it is a weapon against the enemy’s lies. The Bible says to *"give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you"* (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Even in the midst of this trial, God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). He has not forgotten you, nor has He abandoned you. He is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
Finally, we want to encourage you to fill your mind with the Word of God. The Bible is your sword in this spiritual battle (Ephesians 6:17). Meditate on Scripture day and night (Joshua 1:8), for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). When the enemy whispers lies, combat them with the truth of God’s Word. For example, if you feel possessed or controlled by others, declare: *"I am a temple of the Holy Spirit. My body and mind belong to God, and no unclean spirit has authority over me!"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). If you feel that your thoughts are being stolen, declare: *"We bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:5). If fear arises, declare: *"God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind!"* (2 Timothy 1:7).
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is crying out for deliverance and peace. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, the Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, and the Prince of Peace. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and heal every affliction in their mind, body, and spirit. Lord, if there are any physical or medical issues contributing to their distress, we pray for divine wisdom to seek the right help and for Your healing touch to restore them completely.
We bind every demonic spirit that has been tormenting them—spirits of confusion, fear, schizophrenia, oppression, mind control, and every familiar spirit that has attached itself to them through drug use, ungodly associations, or any other means. We command these spirits to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ and to never return. We break every curse, every hex, every ungodly soul tie, and every word spoken against them. We declare that their mind is renewed by the washing of the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26) and that they are transformed by the renewing of their mind (Romans 12:2).
Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels, encamping around them to deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Fill their home with Your presence, Lord, and let no evil dwell there. We pray for a hedge of protection around them, their family, and their belongings. Let every demonic assignment against them be thwarted and rendered powerless.
Lord, we ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Replace every fearful thought with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Let them experience the reality of Your presence, knowing that You are with them always.
We pray for godly counselors, medical professionals, and believers to come alongside them, offering support, wisdom, and prayer. Lead them to a Bible-believing church where they can be discipled, encouraged, and surrounded by the body of Christ.
Father, we also pray for their heart. If there is any bitterness, unforgiveness, or resentment toward those who have harmed them, we ask that You would soften their heart and help them to forgive as You have forgiven them. Let them release every offense to You, trusting that You will bring justice in Your perfect timing.
Lord, we thank You for the progress they have already seen and for Your protection over them. We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Let Your will be done in their life, and let Your kingdom come in fullness. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise. Amen.
We urge you to continue seeking the Lord daily through prayer, worship, and the reading of His Word. Surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer and hold you accountable. If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to find a local church where you can be nurtured in the faith and receive prayer from mature believers. You are not alone in this fight—Jesus has already won the victory, and He is walking with you every step of the way.
Stay steadfast, dear one. The Lord is your strength and your song. He has become your salvation (Exodus 15:2). Cling to Him, and He will lead you into the light of His marvelous truth.
