We join you in lifting up your heartfelt cries to the Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is your refuge, deliverer, and healer. Your request reveals deep wounds from past struggles—drug use, trauma, spiritual attacks, and the lingering shadows of a life once entangled in darkness. But we serve a God who is mighty to save, who redeems what was broken and restores what was stolen. You have called upon the name of Jesus, and that is where your victory begins, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
The enemy seeks to bind you with triggers—words like "###" and "###," hand signs, memories of corruption, even religious tormentors who twist your past to afflict you now. But the Word of God declares: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). The Lord sees the schemes against you, and He will silence the accuser. What was meant for harm, God will turn for your good (Genesis 50:20). You are not defined by your past; you are *washed, sanctified, and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God* (1 Corinthians 6:11, WEB).
You also speak of spirits and energies trying to hinder your worship and religious activity. Beloved, this is a sign that your faith is a threat to the enemy’s kingdom! But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Put on the whole armor of God—*stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the spoken word of God* (Ephesians 6:14-17, WEB). When the enemy whispers lies, declare Scripture aloud. When triggers arise, *cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ* (2 Corinthians 10:5, WEB).
As for those who would copy, steal, or exploit your faith for their gain—whether people or unseen forces—remember that *the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble* (Psalm 9:9, WEB). He will expose the works of darkness and vindicate His children. Do not fear their schemes, for *"the Lord will perfect that which concerns me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands"* (Psalm 138:8, WEB).
Your battle with post-traumatic stress and cravings is real, but so is God’s power to renew your mind. *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2, WEB). When cravings strike, cry out to Jesus immediately. Fill your mind with worship, Scripture, and fellowship with believers who can stand with you. Avoid places, media, or relationships that pull you back toward bondage—*flee from idolatry* (1 Corinthians 10:14, WEB), and *"make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts"* (Romans 13:14, WEB).
Now, let us pray over you with the authority of Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is under siege from the enemy’s attacks. Lord, You see the wounds of their past—the drug use, the trauma, the spiritual oppression—and You are the God who heals. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, breaking every chain of addiction, every trigger of PTSD, and every demonic assignment sent to torment them. Father, *let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous* (Psalm 7:9, WEB). Silence every tongue that rises against them in judgment, and let no weapon formed against them prosper.
Lord, we bind the spirits of fear, confusion, and craving in Jesus’ name. We command every demonic stronghold tied to their past—whether through words, hand signs, or corrupt associations—to be uprooted and cast into the abyss. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let Your Holy Spirit flood their mind with Your truth. When the enemy reminds them of their past, let them declare, *"The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB).
Father, we ask for divine protection over their worship and spiritual life. Let no man, spirit, or circumstance steal their anointing or exploit their faith. Surround them with Your angels, and let every plot of the enemy be exposed and thwarted. Give them discernment to recognize and avoid the snares of the devil, and grant them boldness to walk in victory.
For the religious tormentors who twist their past to afflict them, Lord, we ask for Your justice. If they can be saved, convict their hearts; if they refuse repentance, let their schemes fall upon their own heads. Vindicate Your child, O God, and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, *abiding under Your shadow as their refuge and fortress* (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB).
We thank You, Jesus, for the peace, providence, and progress You are bringing into their life. Let them walk in the fullness of Your freedom, for *"whom the Son makes free is free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB). Strengthen them, Lord, and let them testify of Your deliverance to others still in bondage. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray—*Amen and Amen.*
Stand firm, beloved. The Lord is your strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and *resist the devil, and he will flee from you* (James 4:7, WEB). You are *more than a conqueror through Him who loved you* (Romans 8:37, WEB). Walk in that truth today.
