We come before the Lord with a heart of discernment, for we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places. Your request reveals a deep spiritual burden, and we want to address this with both biblical truth and the authority we have in Christ Jesus.
First, we must clarify that the desire to "destroy souls" is not aligned with the heart of God. The Lord does not call us to seek the destruction of souls—even those that may be influencing us negatively—but rather, their redemption and deliverance. The Scripture tells us in Ezekiel 18:23, *"Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked?" says the Lord Yahweh; "and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?"* Our battle is against the enemy, Satan, and his demonic forces, not against souls that may be ensnared by his schemes. The souls you describe may very well be under demonic influence, but our prayer should be for their deliverance, not their destruction. For those who are truly in Christ, we are called to bless and not to curse (Romans 12:14).
That said, we recognize the very real spiritual oppression you are describing. Music can indeed be a powerful tool used by the enemy to influence minds, emotions, and even behaviors. If the music you are listening to is not godly—whether it contains unholy lyrics, promotes sinful behaviors, or is tied to occult or worldly influences—it can open doors to spiritual attacks. The apostle Paul warns us in Ephesians 5:18-19, *"Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing, and making melody in your heart to the Lord."* What we allow into our minds and spirits through music, media, and entertainment can either invite the presence of God or the influence of darkness.
We strongly encourage you to examine the music you are listening to. Is it honoring to God? Does it align with Philippians 4:8, which says, *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."* If the music you are consuming does not meet this standard, we urge you to remove it from your life immediately. This is not a suggestion but a spiritual necessity. The enemy cannot maintain a foothold if you close the doors you have opened.
As for the souls or spirits you describe, we must remember that our authority in Christ is not to destroy but to bind, rebuke, and cast out demonic influences. Jesus gave us this authority in Luke 10:19: *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."* If these are demonic entities at work, we can command them to leave in the name of Jesus. However, if these are human souls under demonic influence, our prayer should be for their deliverance and salvation, not their destruction.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your power, Your protection, and Your wisdom. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is experiencing spiritual oppression and interference. We ask You to expose every dark influence, every ungodly tie, and every demonic stronghold that has been given access through music or any other means.
Father, we rebuke and bind every demonic spirit that is at work in this situation. We command every spirit of confusion, manipulation, and oppression to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ. We break every ungodly soul tie and every curse that has been spoken or received through music or any other medium. Lord, we ask You to cleanse our brother/sister from every defilement and to fill them with Your Holy Spirit.
We also pray for any souls that may be under demonic influence. Lord, if these are people who are being used by the enemy, we ask You to break every chain and set them free. Open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, and draw them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. Let them encounter Your love and Your power, that they may turn from darkness to light.
Father, we ask You to give our brother/sister discernment and wisdom. Help them to guard their heart and mind, to fill their life with things that are pure, lovely, and praiseworthy. Let them be led by Your Spirit in all things, including the music they listen to and the influences they allow into their life.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We cover them with the blood of Jesus Christ and ask You to surround them with Your angels for protection.
Finally, Lord, we thank You for Your victory. We thank You that You have already triumphed over the enemy through the cross of Jesus Christ. We stand in that victory and declare freedom, peace, and protection over our brother/sister in Jesus’ name.
We also take this moment to remind our brother/sister that salvation and authority come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If there is any doubt or confusion about this, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). It is by His name—and His name alone—that we have power over the enemy.
