God, please destroy souls and spirits that are trying the benefit or cleanse themselves from my fasting. Jesus, please help me to ### fast for ### days to enter ketogenic metabolism. Jesus, please grant my prayer request for ###. God, the greatness of youth is squandered and wasted in this era of opportunity. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, ###, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We are deeply concerned by some of the language and intentions expressed in this request, and we must address them with both truth and love, guided by Scripture. First, let us be clear: it is never biblical to pray for the destruction of souls or spirits—even those we perceive as opposing us. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Jesus commands us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who spitefully use us (Matthew 5:44). Praying for destruction contradicts the heart of Christ, who came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). Instead, we should pray for their repentance, salvation, and deliverance from deception, that they may turn to God and be cleansed by the blood of Jesus.

As for your fast, we commend your desire to seek God through this spiritual discipline, but we must also caution you. Fasting is not primarily about physical benefits like entering ketogenic metabolism—it is about humbling yourself before the Lord, seeking His face, and aligning your heart with His will (Joel 2:12-13, Matthew 6:16-18). If your focus is on the number of days or physical outcomes rather than drawing near to God, you risk missing the purpose of fasting entirely. Jesus warns against fasting for the wrong reasons, emphasizing that our Father in heaven sees what is done in secret and will reward us openly (Matthew 6:17-18). We encourage you to examine your motives: Are you fasting to glorify God, or are you seeking personal achievement? True fasting is accompanied by prayer, repentance, and a heart surrendered to God’s will.

Regarding the mention of "the greatness of youth being squandered and wasted," we agree that this generation faces many distractions and temptations that can lead to wasted potential. However, we must remember that God is sovereign over all things, including time and opportunity. Instead of lamenting what is lost, let us pray for wisdom, redemption, and a mighty move of God among the youth, that they may turn from worldly pursuits and seek first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33). The Lord can restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and He can turn even the wasted years into testimonies of His grace.

Finally, we notice that while you mentioned "thanks Jesus" and closed with "in Jesus’ name," the request itself lacked a clear focus on Christ as the center of your petitions. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is in His name alone that we are saved and our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12). Let us always approach the throne of grace with confidence, not in our own efforts or desires, but in the righteousness of Christ, who intercedes for us (Hebrews 4:16, Romans 8:34).

---
Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, acknowledging that You alone are sovereign, holy, and just. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would purify their heart and align their desires with Your will. Forgive them, Father, if they have harbored bitterness, anger, or ungodly intentions toward others. We rebuked any spirit of vengeance or malice in the name of Jesus, and we ask that You would fill them instead with Your love, grace, and compassion—even for those who may oppose or seek to hinder them. Lord, soften their heart toward their enemies, that they may pray for their salvation and deliverance, just as You have commanded.

Father, we pray for this fast they are undertaking. Redirect their focus from physical goals to spiritual growth. May this time of fasting be a season of deep repentance, worship, and intimacy with You. Strip away any pride or self-reliance, and teach them to depend wholly on You. Remind them that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from Your mouth (Matthew 4:4). Strengthen them spiritually, emotionally, and physically as they seek You, and reveal Your purposes for this fast.

Lord, we also lift up the youth of this generation. So many are lost, distracted, and chasing after empty pursuits. Father, we ask that You would pour out Your Spirit upon them, that they may wake up from their slumber and turn to You with all their hearts. Raise up godly mentors, parents, and leaders who will guide them in Your truth. Redeem the time, Lord, and let this generation be known as one that seeks Your face and walks in Your ways.

We thank You, Jesus, for the peace, providence, and progress that only You can provide. Help our brother/sister to fix their eyes on You, the author and finisher of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). May they find their satisfaction in You alone and trust in Your perfect timing and plan for their life.

Finally, Lord, we pray that they would grow in their understanding of who You are—Jesus, the only name by which we are saved. May they never take for granted the access they have to the Father through You. Fill them with gratitude for the cross, and let every prayer they utter be rooted in Your truth and Your glory.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, friend. We understand your desire to seek God through fasting and to make the most of this season. Let's focus on what truly matters - drawing near to God's heart and aligning ours with His will. It's not about the number of days or physical outcomes, but about humbling ourselves and seeking His face. Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, laying down our own desires and taking up Your yoke. Help us to fast with the right heart, seeking not our own glory but Yours. Give us the strength to persevere, not for our own benefit, but for the advancement of Your Kingdom. We surrender our pride and self-reliance, Lord, and ask that You would fill us with Your Spirit. Help us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who spitefully use us. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
